1- 85 Sugar Bowl
2- Miracle at South Bend
3- Athens in 95 ish? Peyton destroyed the dawgs

1. 1999 Fiesta Bowl
2. Athens in 2004
3. Bristol/1998 Orange Bowl (PM’s last game)/Legion Field 1997

Worst:
1. 2001 SECCG
2. 1999 at UF
3. 2009 at Ole Miss/2011 at Arkansas (had great seats though)

Man, the stories I have/have heard from playing intramural footbal, especially at UT where the field is AstroTurf.

We were playing my freshman year a few days around the 1998 Arkansas game when it rained a ton. The turf was slick, I caught a ball down the sideline, cut back and slid across the turf. I was wearing shorts and had a huge burn mark down my hip and one on my elbow. I had to sleep on my side for 2 weeks, and my clothes would stick to me if I didn’t have it bandaged.

I had a roommate tear his ACL, and I had another friend break his ankle. Brutal.

Tore my acl, pcl, and mcl playing Greek football! Good times!😐

sorry I havent done my part for the OC. I will still not do a damn thing toward it on account of being neutered tomorrow morning. pray for me and my lost soul :(
It ain’t that bad. Take the Valium, swallow your pride, and alternate frozen bags of peas.

You’ll be back in action better than ever in no time.

@volatil .... the wife is going back to school for her NP, likely at Carson Newman (completely online is her preference).

Question...how much stress should I expect for the next 2.5 years?

And FWIW, I know that I was stressed when I went through my masters but, let's be honest, it wasn't an NP program.

I know this is a little late, but my gf has her NP degree from Carson Newman. It was stressful, especially with her working nightshift at UT Medical. But, from how she talks about it, it sounds pretty normal for a Master's level degree. Some parts were much more stressful than others while some were pretty easy.

She now works for a urgent Care clinic to get her time in to get a much better job. I learn so much from her and hear so much from her. She is an amazing woman who puts up with so much at her job. The medical field truly is a thankless field a lot of the time. Also, people "need to be seen" for the dumbest ish a lot of the time, too lol.

Crazy that Vandy has been the better program. Need to start consistently beating them again to get out of the SEC cellar!

Mine is currently going through it and is a little under a year in. I dunno how CN is, but my wife has to respond to two discussion posts every week per class (citing sources, etc.) And write a paper (end up being 4 to 5 pages, plus sources) every week per class. In APA format. With sources less than 5 years old. Taking two classes per quarter which is considered full time.

If your wife works full time, good luck. There's no way mine could do it. She's lucky she works prn. Otherwise she would have to go part time.

Do what you can to help her out around the house, with the kids, and anything else you can think of. That will help a lot.

Howe much stress should you expect - a lot.

Mannings last game was a favorite?

It wasn’t a good outcome, but I was a senior in high school and saw one of the greatest QB’s play his last college game. Plus, I got to travel to Miami and spend New Year’s with my older brother and a friend. He is 8 years older and left for college when I was in 5th grade. I have been to many SEC venues, South Bend, and Norman. But that was one of my first cool memories as a young Vol fan.

We ended up driving back to TN because we went to the UT-UF basketball game in Gainesville a couple of nights later. It wasn’t a great outcome either but a fun trip.

Now that I think about it, I might trade the 1995 Citrus Bowl for that one. I haven’t been to many games the last 6-8 years, but I was fortunate to attend some fun games as a young person.

Fair enough. I bet I saw PM play 25-30
Times

The 95 citrus bowl the coldest I have ever been. Felt like freezing rain lol

I recall the rain. Pretty miserable.

The 98 Arkansas game was miserable as were the 97 Arkansas game in Little Rock and the 2000? Kentucky game in Neyland. It was a noon kickoff, probably 30 degrees with a 5-10 MPH wind, and we were sitting in the upper deck. Fulmer’s second to last game in Nashville was cold too.

Mine was doing NP and found out once she achieved it she loses all her seniority as an RN and starts over again working weekends, nights, holidays, doing all the scut work and shifts nobody wants as the newest lowliest NP on staff. She dumped that quick and is now working for Nursing Educator Masters. If you;re in your 20s and 30s, it probably makes sense going NP, but a 40 something RN has a hard choice to make and a 50 something RN is foolish to do it unless they plan on working another 15 or 20 years.
