I love all these bowl games, there can never be too much football. And I don't think the quality is any worse than any regular season games, they're just spread out so you can't flip to a different one. There's just as many stinkers in a regular week of games as bowl seasons

If i had the magic wand this is how i would do it.
Switch every league to the same schedule 11 games...8 conference games and 3 OOC (2P5&1G5). No conference championship games.

Championship Playoff:
-16 teams
-no auto bids
-first round top seed gets a home game.
-elite 8 and beyond is neutral

NIT playoff:
-next 16 teams, same format.

Totally agree with this format. And you can still keep the few bowl games that are actually prestigious as the last few rounds of the tournaments.
