Longtime assistant coach and former Hawaii head coach Norm Chow told Dan Harralson of VolsWire that he thinks Sark would be a good fit for the Volunteers:
“If you have that part (off-field) squared away, you have a chance,” Chow said. “He is a bright guy and tutored by good people. Football wise he would fit.”
I heard Doug briefly on the Zone and he doubled down on this being pretty well decided already and expects Weinke to move to QB coach. That’s all I heard before i had to go save lives, rescue puppies, and clear out a burning building.
If what he says about Weinke is true, then it sounds like we’re getting an OC/TE, OC/WR, OC/RB, or OC/OL combo. Has anyone seen a potential candidate listed that would fit that bill? Every potential candidate I’ve seen listed has been an OC/QB.
EDIT: I just remembered the USCe OC fits that bill. I guess if it’s him, we’ll find out after the Belk Bowl.
Good prices there. I carry that Ruger LCR.With all the other, non-recruiting or OC search talk, figured I might share this sale information with any fellow gun enthusiasts.
DISCLAIMER: I am in no way endorsing, nor affiliated with, this business. Just want to make folks aware of some great gun prices here in North Alabama.
Go Vols!

I’m not saying he can’t. But what I am saying is that Doug is trying to cover all his bases.Maybe but If Weinke can’t coach qbs he shouldn’t be on the staff imo. Pretty pathetic if you couldn’t coach the position you played. I think it’s pretty reasonable to assume the OC wouldn’t need to be a qb coach
