The Atlanta Braves - Hello darkness my old friend

Nice rig! We built one for Verc Jr this year but it looks like your budget was a little more generous than his. He's sitting over there loading up his Steam games as we speak.

I hadn't built a computer in almost 20 years. Things have certainly advanced some since then.

I started building them when it was an absolute chore. You had to drill your own mounting brackets. Nothing aligned. You had to solder your own bridges and circuit caps because there was always one or two that were done improperly, etc... This build was a breeze short a few issues here and there, but that's expected.

I tend to build one every 4-5 years as I have found it to be a good cycle for myself vs market and upgrades.

But yeah builds used to be days now they are hours. This was my first experience with nvme / m.2 and RGB bling. What platform did you decide to go with? I went with z390 and a 9900k.

Here’s to those of you who bought in low on stocks the last few days...
Was actually down near the stock exchange this morning. Maybe I’m good luck.

Here’s a few pictures from today. First time I’ve ever been to NYC. If any of you guys ever find yourself there, make a point to go down to the 9/11 Memorial. It’s definitely a little out of the way from all the main NYC stuff in midtown, but it’s very well done. Wish I’d had time to tour the museum as well, but just had about 12 hours in the city before I had to come back to the airport to catch my flight. Everybody knows the numbers of people that died that day, but see all those names laid out around the memorial is kind of overwhelming. 84214249-5052-4498-AA6E-6440DD8F32CE.jpegD176F471-5B6C-4F96-A3E7-65A4FFE1FEC6.jpegF73EA66C-810B-49EB-AE23-CF2BB209FE17.jpeg8945AFEB-4528-4157-8E11-83FDB90564B9.jpegCC5B1F87-EBA0-4B08-8117-C9299DAA3FFC.jpeg
