Am I the only one who doesn't know Russell and his entire family; or who doesn't hang out with them; or doesn't know Sandy, the local Dyersburg beautician who does Ms. Russell's hair; or doesn't watch football games with them, and talk about the Vols, or is it the Badgers, or is it the Packers? Idk? Am I the only one?![]()
1. SylvesterLol you named elected officials that anyone could google... how bout this, name the “famous” homeless guy in town. What is the name of the gas station in Southtown? What is a potato wedge called at said gas station? Name one morning coffee regular at Big Boy Junction. What do they call the community center on the east side? Community center on the west side?
All things a good ol Dyer County fellow ought to know.

Ladies and gentlemen, we have a winner. You know, they have had several that could’ve played for UT. Jerry Reece, Jimmy Leake, and Deandre Swift. Swift played for several teams in the NFL. I don’t know what Jerry Reece is doing right now, but according to someone, he could take a GM job soon. Also, throw in Greg Ross, that played with Miami. He would’ve been one of the best defensive end players of all time to me, if he hadn’t rolled his leg, that ended his career. Bubba McClain could’ve played quarterback in the NFL, but instead, he chose to pitch with the Cincinnati Reds, until he got hurt. He had an arm on him. He could throw a football at 70 or 80 mph easily. He could launch a football 70 yards down the field 70 yards like it wasn’t nothing. He could throw a baseball clocked at 101 mph easy.Y'all think this thread is weird ? If we ever recruit a kid out of Lake County it will blow this crazy Dyer County thread out of the water. Lmao
