Ok, in the context of the original reply of the comment left about Briles and FSU. NSD is irrelevant, FSU is not grabbing the remaining recruiting class nor 53 ESPN 300. FSU has only 5 4 and 5 stars left that have verbally committed but those are also being sought after by the likes of Bama, Georgia, TN etc.. so maybe they land them in Feb and maybe they don't. Also to note, all 5 recruits are defensive players. So again irrelevant in context with Briles and the original post.My opinion is simply that you changing your post from "not relevant" to "isn't AS significant" was the entire discussion.
There's the opportunity to jump to 6-8th or fall to 17th with that 24%. Not relevant, is incorrect. Getting Wright alone, makes it way more than relevant to us.
Its weird how we judge other coaches by their worst game and ours by their best.So when I was watching the game and seeing Houston get run by 56 points I was literally laughing at the likelihood that Freak would have to pull the Halon Fire extinguisher over the Volnation servers if he came to Knoxville. What kindof spin can FSU put on this when they announce Briles? Its not his fault the Defense laid down but damn 14 points?
Stupid post
Seriously you have No idea what your talking about but keep thumping that narrative

Never said I was judging just LOL at what meltdown would occur. So what you're saying is that Volnation would be all sunshine and rainbows when it was announced the Briles was the new OC? Would you want to introduce him at a media event two days after the beatdown he just got?Its weird how we judge other coaches by their worst game and ours by their best.
He and dad covered up a bunch of rapes / assaults? Do I need to post a link to the report?
I'll let you tell me what the difference between hiring Schiano and this guy is. I bet your rationale is - wait for it - stupid.
Agreed and like I said its not Briles fault but I cant imagine having to explain this to the masses. Serious question... How long did Briles know he wouldn't have King and would have to prepare the Frosh?D'eriq King was out. Played a true freshman who couldn't run their RPO stuff (as in they literally scrapped it all from the playbook) and couldnt run himself.
But for a program that has averaged 20.5 ppg the past 2 years, 14 points aint so bad lol. But yeah, that was definitely an anomaly.

1) KB was never accused of any of it.
2) Art was not accessory to rape or any other felony. Here's the deal - the entire university had MASSIVE issues with their reporting and internal controls. Many believe BU threw the athletes and program under the bus as a scapegoat. Not saying everything was done just right, but most that only read the highlights assumed way too much, like he is a criminal.
Art had it laid out in front of him and chose to cover it up more than once. How are you defending this while patting yourself on the back for the line UT fans drew during the Schianamo?
Lol at your "many believe" garbage...BU actually had players raping/assaulting.
How again is KB different than Schiano? Both probably had some knowledge of what was going on - both probably hid from ethical responsibility.
Yes, I understand there were BU players doing some of those things, I mean the whole university had issues with reporting and they threw it all on Briles, when admin was largely at fault too. Not a crime, but hes a shitttt person!! But, KB was never convicted of any coverups, that has no evidence. If anything, you'd expect a dad to shield his son from any issues, like a mobster's son. Either way, you cant convict on assumptions.
Not sure why Schiano is brought up. When did I "pat my back" on Schiano? You just brought him up yourself. He's a garbage coach that treats his players like garbage. Glad hes not here.
Sorry I cant help it.Like a month, but only had 1 warmup game. His stats arent bad, 230 yards 1 td yestetday, 256 vs memphis. But guess they thought it better to keep it simple than expand things. His offense is simple in theory, but needs a lott of practice.
The real issue for Briles, who relies so much on running, is scrapping rpos and the qb run threat, absolutely killed their run game. Studies show the most effective runs are on qb run options and without these 2 points of optionality, rpos and qb option, their run game went downhill fast.
