Pruitt’s swing for the fences approach requires some slow playing. His pursuit of Russell is recent, so a lot for the kid to process. I think he’s a take for sure but the kid isn’t rushing it. Trezman Marshall had his scholarship imo. I don’t know if To To affects his situation or not. Hope we get him...I’d call it a day at ILB.

I think the class we signed in ESD certainly gives the leverage to Pruitt and this staff in the closing any deal with any remaining recruits who would want to be here. I just wonder how many more we have heard from since yesterday. This was an awesome show by our kids and recruiting staff. Amazing!!! I am really impressed.

I agree. Mine was a statement not a rebuttal. I don't believe all published offer lists nor do I believe stars are the end all be all.

No offense taken. I’d love to get this guy too. If he could’ve made that OV we would’ve pushed for commitment now. Arky has done well this cycle with guys we slow played.

He hasn't changed up at all on his prediction. Seems to be close to this recruitment. I just don't think he is trolling is all. He seems overly excited and may be wrong on his assessment of the Russell recruitment, but I am not one to doubt like others are. We have people that are contradicting what he is saying, and who knows, they may be the ones that don't know. This will all shake out one way or the other and maybe some light can be shed on this discussion.

They have to accept the LOI...and give him one to sign. He has a say also. Other than that, no.

His stepbrother who he is close with and played side by side with for four years has had several complications with knee surgery. He wants him to be able to come with him on visits. That’s the reason he rescheduled. He was never going to sign early.

Gotcha. I know you think he is coming to us. But if he waits until Feb he might not have a spot. Looks like Pruitt has been trying to get as many EEs as possible so he can start training them right away.

Pruitt is holding a scholarship for him. He already knew Chris wasn't gonna sign early. He has a spot.

And I’m going to tell you what I do know.
1.He went to a camp that CJP does in the summer.
2. After that, he committed to Memphis.
3. He decommitted from Memphis, after Pruitt contacted him by phone before the Auburn offer.
4. It took Tennessee a little bit more time to offer, because of evaluations that goes on by Pruitt.
5. He has been a vol fan, with his family being vol fans.
6. His mother is a vol fan as well.
7. His feelings never got hurt by Tennessee.
8. Now, I’m going to have to hear this crap again round and round.
9. From yesterday, there is no influence from no one or a girl to keep him from Tennessee.
10. He is all vol, and he wants to be here so bad.

Knowing what I know, I'm gonna tell you that you are right on everything except number 6. The mom is a Badger but wants him at Tennessee. Other than that, your pretty much spot on although I will also say that he was disappointed that Tennesse waited so long to offer him but Pruitt pretty much took care of that with the home visit.
