Thanks. I would imagine there's a fairly broad scope of circumstances that could fall under that description.

Yep. The trend is to retain an attorney to petition on the athlete's behalf. They get creative, work the process and the waiver is granted more times than not in cases like this.

Makes all that pissing and moaning from a few days ago look even dumber than it was in real time.

To be fair, it was our 2nd consecutive signing day where we were trolled on multiple fronts, and got no major flips or surprises. That's going to bum people out no matter what the class looked like.

The question is, will he count as being part of this class, and what would his star ranking be, the same?

Yeah I like to star gaze a bit

Treating Solomon as Travon Walker. Solomon was 23 on the composite, Walker is 24 this year. Would put us at 6 assuming we land Crouch/Wright.

Walker is rated .9886 and Solomon was rated .9879

Better comparison would be Devontae Dobbs at .9876

That would put us at #12 after adding Solomon. 10th if we add Crouch tonight. Still 6th if we also add Darnell in February.

Would bump our 2017 class from 17th to tied for 12th.

I have a request of my brethren and sistren. Take a look at this highlight reel. I’ve know this kid since he was 8 years old. His brother is Cam McDaniel (RB for Norte Dame when they lost to Bama in the NC. Don’t get me started on the liar that is Brian Kelly). TJ won the Landry award last week (Heisman for the state of TX) over the #1 and #3 players in the country (based on which recruiting site you follow). He played for Southlake Carroll in the toughest football division in Texas, 6A. Yet he’s only a 3⭐️. He had 30+ offers of which 2 were Clemson and Oregon and the only SEC offer was Vandy. I don’t get it. He’s a stud. He’s the exact same measurable as Christian McCaffrey when he LEFT Standford. He will play on Sundays. I have my theory as to why he is rated the way he is but I’ll keep that to myself. Take a look and tell me what you think.

Legit diamond in the rough. He will be a steal for somebody.

The media would have gone wild if UT had picked up Jarren Williams after he hit the transfer portal. Richt's keeping him for now... but Williams has months to change his mind.
