Yea, I'd say we are doing ok by that metric...just my opinion, but I think the below names will make a solid foundation for this class (Keyton RS IMO)

I agree with the potential starters. I will be surprised if Gray gets close to the 2 deep, honestly. I think that if Banks learns to take care of the football, it will be Chandler as the lead back with Banks as the clear back-up. And, don't forget Jordan who has good experience and can perform solidly. But, if he does, that's great news. That would only mean he is likely the real deal.

I think Middleton's conditioning and football shape will be interesting to watch. If he is going to play some NT for us, I think he is going to need the S&C program bad. JMO based on everything I've read. I am definitely rooting for him. Anyone who has been on this board for 4+ years can recall tracking his thread. He was definitely a controversial topic.

I don’t get it. He’s a stud. He’s the exact same measurable as Christian McCaffrey when he LEFT Standford. He will play on Sundays. Price said we're only going to sign about 23. Remove Harris, Henry, and Cox, add Crouch and Wright and that brings us to 20. Three more. Kristian Williams, Christopher Russell, and hopefully Henry To I guess.

Why you think remove Harris? I thought his grades were less of a concern, and I feel like he has big potential as a more ball hawking safety where as McCollough is the thumper run stopping safety

A current head coach right now in college told me once that an ideal recruiting class you should get:
At least....
2 starters
3 instant 2 deeps
And 3 Players who can contribute on STs.

I’d say this class already checks that box.

Interesting view. I'm surprised there's only 2 starters, but you did say "at least." Going back, what I always heard was that Fulmer held the view in recruiting that you could never sign too many linemen (OL or DL) or RBs. I think the linemen view holds to this day, but I think times have changed for RBs, especially with the ability for guys to transfer without having to sit out a year.

Wasn't trying to, I just have seen so many broken families, some of my best friends included, that have to deal with their crazy ass exes every day because of the kids. They have to stay in places they don't want to be and pay out money they don't have. It sucks.

Dude if we close out with Crouch & Wright we have the 10th best class. TENTH in the country. We have gone 4-8 & 5-7 in the last two years. This is an amazing testament to the power of the brand and this coaching staff. Anyone who grades this class as less than an A if we close them both out has a deflated head.

With Banks moving to LB I am hopeful that group is improved and deeper come Fall. JJ having a full off season, Taylor returning, Bituli back, DK can return, Allen, Page, Ignont, DeAndre and this group coming in...we'll see that's a lot of good high rated guys still on campus if all the Juniors return for their senior season like Taylor.

I watched a couple minutes, and I don't know anything about this kid, and I'm not an expert. But, does his lower rating have to do with his speed? He doesn't look slow by any means, but it doesn't look like he separates at top-end speed. What about his acceleration? It didn't "wow" me. But, let's not act like 30+ offers and a 3* rating is bad. That's actually really good. As a top football program historically, we just expect higher rated prospects. Not to mention, he is probably being taught very well. Southlake is no joke.

Tbh, I never really thought about being a dad until I became one. Was definitely happy before also. It's just a different kind.
For me, it's been better in a lot of ways. I was never as happy for anything I did or accomplished as I am when my kids excel at something.

But I know it's not for everyone. And when it's not for someone, it's probably better not to be, that's where some of these horror stories come from.
For those like me, it's a feeling you could never explain to someone, you just have to live it.

Didn't Pruitt mention him at NT during his presser in which he went through all of the signees? That's where I got that albeit I agree with you. Considering where he is now, DE sounds more reasonable.

Being in Texas hurts him a bit too I bet. That size and production in a different state where he can standout more he could be a borderline 4 star with more big offers.

I mean I'd love to see him at UT...but if he's got a Clemson offer why isn't he going?
