OT but I go to court this afternoon to finalize the custody ordeal with my kids. Child advocate service said they’re going to recommend they stay with me. Kids haven’t been supeanaed so they won’t be there but they don’t want to go back to live with her.

I disagree..It is not good to not tell the kids the truth about the other, of course that means the real truth, not just spiteful jealousy. It can cause very big problems for many years when the kids don't know the truth of someone. I know this from personal experience...of course what I'm talking about is not just bad mouthing them out of spite and a need for vengeance...that is for sure a no-no, and I agree with that...it is just a fine line.

depending on their age and emotional stability, maybe, i dont claim that the human experience is set in stone and that the rules are obvious, I think you know what I meant

Yeah...I do, and I totally agree. It just caused me some really bad headaches with my youngest daughter, she didn't understand why we got divorced, and why I reaaaaallly didn't like her mother, so she gave me crap attitude for years till I finally had to tell her some details after 15 years. She was blaming me for everything because her selfish lying mother didn't want her to know the truth. The truth, even a softened version of it helped immensely.

Long story short...kids are not that good at figuring things out for themselves sometimes, and a bad parent can lead them far astray. I almost failed my daughter badly by sticking to that hard rule.

We should start hearing about some upper classmen leaving pretty soon I would think. If Jennings is declaring I would think we should hear something soon.

Here is the way I rate/ see recruiting classes:
I just don't see much difference in looking at a class at 14 and say 16. Minimal at best

Tier 1: top 10- jimmy and joes win 8-10 with poor coaching and with good coaching playoffs here we come

Tier 2:: 11-20 class struggle to get to bowl games with poor coaching, 8-10 wins with great coaching


Tier 3: outside of the top 20 miss bowl games with poor coaching, make a lower tier bowl with great coaching


This is the way I see classes from the SEC and one of the reason I see Pruitts comments about the importance of an OC and recruiting to be off base

I look at it in I always want to be in top 15 average over 4 yr period with at least 1-2 preferably 2 of those years being inside top 5/10. Oklahoma was last team to win a national title that didn't have a top 10 class 2 out of 4 yrs in a 4 yr cycle per what clay travis said yesterday.

I didn't take Pruitts OC comments as literal. He just didn't want to answer the question and people kept asking

If anybody else is having the same problem I was where you could read the threads but the ability to post was not there because the box was not showing up....clear your cache/history etc and then re log in and you should be good
