If he has any chance at all to be elite, elite, I think it's at running back. It is going to take a lot of hard work for him to get there at running back and the "I don't want to take the hits" would be a major red flag for me in terms of him at that position. Whoever the coach was or whoever told him that is a blithering idiot and hurt the kid more than he helped him. At linebacker, he has the raw tools to be an excellent "JACK" (the Saban defense version of the BUCK) in Tennessee's defensive scheme, but again it's going to take a while for him to be that type of player at that level. He has the potential to be All-SEC and maybe a high NFL Draft pick at that position, but it's going to take a while and I will say it will take him out-working the 15-20 other prospects around the country who are just as good right now to get to that high level.

At Clemson, he could be a great linebacker....but if he played running back there in that system he's a missing link and could be an All-American and a first-round pick. But again, someone has gotten in his head that he does not want to take a hit. So he could end up being Jamie Harper, you just don't know.

I like his chances better at Clemson than Tennessee to be honest. But anywhere he goes it's going to take some time, IMO. People around him screwed his recruitment up and Rivals ranking him No. 1 in the country was....well, you probably know my opinion on that. I get it. With JT Daniels leaving early and going to Southern California there wasn't a clear cut No. 1 and to me there still isn't in this class. Take a chance with a guy like that, it's fine and you can't make top player decisions based on the impact on the kid...heck you don't know! But all of a sudden a kid who is getting horrible advice to begin with now thinks is the top prospect in the country?
He was a former national writer for 247. Now is writer for the Cocks

If you already own it then I wouldn’t sell but if you’re looking at a new buy I personally would hold off. A little worried about the change happening at the top and, although nothing definitive at this point, some hinting that his resignation might not be entirely voluntary.

@Kingston Vol thought I quoted your post but no clue how it got left off. That was about teladoc
