Why? Because they're talking about appearances, and could just say so, instead of generating imagery of lenses?

Yeah, me, too.
I just hate those stupid espn talking head generated cliches anymore..

You can't just say "It wouldn't look good"...They have to try and be hip and say "The optic were bad"...and that pretentious crap makes me wanna puke every time I hear it 🤮

Now get off my lawn..

Gotta say, I like all the OL talk.

I do think Richmond has been a boogeyman on this board, sometimes justly, other times notsomuch. He had his bad games, including getting benched against who was it, Charlotte? He also had games that he graded out to be one of our best pieces in either run blocking or pass pro.. He just really needs to get consistent, and another year here will hopefully work out for him, the RG next to him, and the W/L column.

If he doesn't seem to be panning out halfway through the year, maybe it'll be time to put in Darnell.. I though I read something in his thread where he likely wouldn't be Day 1 starting material, but should see significant time as a back-up.. I could be filling in that narrative myself though.

So when I think of our roster and current signees. I like some needs we filled.

QB - added depth

RB - added another Chandler type playmaker - need a Banks replacement power back(Crouch 2way maybe?)

WR - Keyton and Means add some different styles to WR corp. I would like to add 1 more here and see Murphy take a big jump.

TE - needed guys not afraid to block - Lowe is a good mix but Brown loves to hit.

OL - needed everything and imo brought in everything - add Wright and its the #1 Ol class in country imo

DL - needed bodies and we added 3 big bodies including 2 3yr Jucos. Now we need playmakers whether it's another 1-2 signees or these guys plus returners developing into them. I would like a grad transfer here.

LB - we need speed and flat out aggressive you can't block me attitude. Harrison will bring that. Need Russell, Crouch and Tootoo bad here.

DB - need CB depth, a star and Safties - I feel we added that in Burrell, Fields at star, McCullough and Beasley. I hope we hold on to Harris as a playmaking safety if not we need to find one more playmaking DB imo.

All in all we are in a good spot to really focus on specific spots now to finish with the main foundation already signed. Not too mention they are mostly early enrolles.

Finish with 2-3 more DL via HS, Juco or Grad transfer. 2-3 LBs should be the critical areas to close.

Price said we're only going to sign about 23. Remove Harris, Henry, and Cox, add Crouch and Wright and that brings us to 20. Three more. Kristian Williams, Christopher Russell, and hopefully Henry To I guess.

Lots of discussions here last year about saving spots for this class.
If price is correct we absolutely screwed up badly taking London and KC.

So who are the top instate 2020 guys? I assume Newt will let us discuss them now
