Possible for sure but the clock is ticking.
Has to be today or tomorrow for that to happen imo.


I'd bet a sizable amount of money were are waiting for bowl games to be played or the NFL season to end

The season ends on the 30th for non playoff NFL teams. I don’t think we’d wait on someone to coach a bowl game - I don’t know why that would be prioritized by either side.

My guess is we make a hire sometime in the couple days after Christmas.

Yeah, that’s my feeling too.

Pruitt didn’t settle on anyone in the initial round of candidates, decided to shut it down to focus on recruiting, and I’d guess it picked back up this morning. Will probably interview all weekend, shut down for Christmas, then pick back up and make a decision sometime late next week.

And I do agree that we’ll start to hear new names.

I can 100% guarantee you that he zeroed in on Freeze until that fell apart. But agree on everything else. I hope yurcich isn’t totally out of it although that’s how it seems

I just don’t buy the Freeze stuff. Much like the Gruden stuff, it was just fun to talk about and normally good sources get caught up in that.
