Nah no reason to panic. It's solid enough assuming we get Crouch and Wright and Gray. Just gotta realize we are going to have to do better for the next few years to compete with the big boys in the SEC.
Could you keep repeating this about every month or so?there's a little more "poor me" in this for my taste, but in merit, i agree.
UGA and Bama are not our peer group right now, of the SEC teams on our schedule. everyone else is.
so i think you throw those 2 out for hte time being.
at some point Vand, KY need to get back to just being W's. USCe, MO should be "most of the time w's". UF should be a toss up game every year. and when 5-3 in the SEC becomes the floor again, then it's time to start looking at UGA and BAma.
If we finish with the big fish we're in good position for currently and add in a guy like Russell and another Dline guy then this is a very good class honestly. Not Bama or UGA good, but good enough to compete with every other team in the East.lol. yeah, it's not as bad as some would have you think. but it's not over the moon good either. it literally is what it is.
and we have 2 months to see what the actual finishd product will look like.
We don't need to compete with the big boys, we need to beat everyone else. Once we do recruiting will take care of itself, but until we do, we will have to be satisfied with 10-15 ranked classes.
That's recruiting. How could you not think that in reality many of those non committed guys were long shots? Most of the guys we "missed on" as you say haven't even visited UT recently or ever until last weekend. Landing Cain, Eboigbe, Figureroa, Ellis, etc would have been big upsets correct? Then why get so upset when it doesn't happen. We signed every single guy we were suppose to sign and didn't win any of the big upsets.Never said it couldn't be worse.
Am saying today was disappointing based on all the smoke out there.
As homerific as you were in many threads, declaring a lot of these guys Vols, not sure how you don't somewhat feel the same way.
