can’t help but be a little disappointed at some of the misses, but I think Feb will be good for us
Yep. We have 3 elite prospects that just so happen to not be announcing today. Getting some good publicity at the all-star games will create momentum going into NSD. Need to focus on securing another high level DL, WR, and To'oto'o.

An unpopular opinion, but if you ignore the bad info brought here late yesterday that set everyone's expectations irrationally high (see also, basically, the definition of trolling), today has actually been a really good day. We kept everyone we needed to keep, and we added what must be a diamond in the rough WR that we weren't expecting.

In the 247 team rankings, there are 2 teams in the top 15 that did not go bowling this year....FSU and UT. Yet everyone wants to b!tch about the recruiting failures.

We're ahead of OSU and UF, and others such as Stanford, USC, and Miami.

And after 5-7 and 4-8 seasons, a coaching search fiasco, and obnoxious social media fans.......

Smdh!!!
This all day. And NO ****ing OC!!!

If we land Wright/Crouch/Gray:

2019 Pruitt
2 5-stars
9 4-stars
13 3-stars
268.46 points
90.22 average
2007 Saban
0 5-stars
8 4-stars
16 3-stars
241.78 points
87.81 average

The fact that we're coming off 2-14 in the SEC the last two years and doing as well as we are is impressive. Even Saban didn't recruit like Saban coming off of his first 7-6 year.
The 90.22 average would also be the highest for us since 2009, we've majorly beefed up our biggest position of need at OL, added some JUCO stopgaps for the DL, and have gotten a solid player at every position on the field. Use this to solidify our place above Kentucky/Vandy/USCe/Mizzou and work from there.
👀

Nobody has real access unless they are actually part of the staff in some capacity tbh. Most of the stuff is just here say from people that work for UT in other roles or media friends.
Seriously? Are you not the one that had access to a bunch of info including Freeze was done?

Oh, don't tell them! They can't handle truth. They want it now, or it's never.

Not saying it's good enough or where we need to be... but it's where most thought we'd be. We'll sign the bulk of our class this week and it's going pretty much as expected. The big misses happened a few weeks ago, with Pappoe, Watson and Marshall. People got hyped last-minute for guys who weren't-- and never had been-- trending our way. Not getting Gray or Wright would be a bad surprise and signing Crouch will be a good one, but otherwise, it has been low-drama.
Simple as cornbread. It'll fill you up but it ain't as pretty as cake.

We don't need anymore **** cakes.

@Atlanta VOL really put himself out there. He doesn't have to come on this board and post info but he did because he gets excited just like the rest of us do! I'm sure in the back of his mind he was telling himself not to comment or make predictions but he did and it went the wrong way on him. Oh well! I, for one, appreciate all of the insight he brings! Thank you sir!

Now, we may have missed a few targets but if we can get these kids coached up, retain them and not have them transfer out like Butch's classes did, then we're already better off. We need to prove to next year's class that we are on an upward swing and I believe we will do that.
