This class will turn out to be a solid top 10-15 class but not the spectacular top 5-10 that people were saying.

We need to show more improvement on the field and development of players next season in order to close on these elite prospects.

Happy with this class so far if we close with Gray, Wright, Russell, and Crouch.

Looking forward to next season! GBO!
 
Posters can play righteous about how great the class is, and how it’s not a disappointment, but at the end of the day, we’ve lost ground, and it’s going to take “exceptional” Recruiting to get make it back up, not “really good after a 5-7 season” Recruiting.

Yeah. True enough.

Realistically this has to be a better recriting year than it is currently. Hope we can land Crouch, Wright, and Gray. Hard to be confident that we can make any big flips between now and Feb.

Atlanta Vol does have good info, but kids lie, change their minds... and I think our friend also has orange tinted glasses, not that there is anything wrong with that. Maybe just a bit too optimistic and we need to adjust expectations a bit

First part is iffy at best, middle part is spot on, last part definitely.

We need to treat insiders as what they are: one single point of information in what is a vast, complex web with many, many more points of information.

People on message boards treat insiders too much like oracles. The decision-making process is complicated.
 
It’s (insert year), Tennessee finishes 5-8 in the sec in recruiting. Lather,rinse,repeat. I know, I know, we’ve still got February.
 
Don't worry guys, remember, just follow the crumbs, right!? Also, I don't know about y'all, but I take great solace in the fact that we still have the Stay-Puft "Traveler" waiting in the wings.

Our class will turn out to be fine but we are missing left and right on guys this morning. We have really fumbled the ball on some of the recruiting, specifically WR recruiting. Missing on Anderson after neglecting him for so long. Striking out on JE, OP, likely To’oto’o, Ellis, etc.

It’s not nega to say that today was a little underwhelming. Keeping Fitz is great though.

The great recruiters always find a way to close strong. What drew me to recruiting was following Fulmer for years. He was a master at closing strong and always that last minute flip that nobody saw coming.
