I get excited over these kids wanting to be Vols. It's a big deal. The problem has not been the kids wanting to be Vols. The problem has been the stupidity of the UTAD/boosters who were so dumb as to believe what they were choosing as coaches could ever achieve what they expected and the kids deserved. When it became obvious, the UTAD did nothing but let it all tank and the kids lost all desire to compete.

That all changed with SchiaNO. Forget the media and supposed fans that don't get that. CJP's 5-7 record this past season is not the same as Dools and Botch, the proof was in the Auburn and UK wins. CJP is now recruiting to the weaknesses that changes the results the most. Strength across the board and great O-line play. He plans to bring the pain. With each class that follows each position group will be upgraded. Surprised some of y'all don't get that.

Some people are happier being miserable. A lot less pressure that way.

Then they should have named him OC right away, and with confidence. Promoting this guy now just screams that a lot of people said no. If he truly is the granddaddy of RPO that some on here make him out to be, then why was he still coaching at a JUCO until last year. We need an OC that has lit up the scoreboard as a division 1 OC, not a guy that’s been laboring in obscurity until we hired him as off the field analyst. I don’t want to bash the guy and if he’s the hire, I hope it turns out great. However, there is no sugarcoating it, and I’ll have a hard time getting excited about it until he proves it on the field.

Yeah, Ellis, Figueroa, or Eboigbe would be great, but crystal balls saying swings and misses... not looking like we will get any of these types of kids today...

You usually boom when there is a big announcement or surprise, or big signing, or great news... we are basically getting the ones we already figured on and so there really hasn't been a reason to yet. Hopefully today at some point there will be a signing that is BOOM worthy... Can you boom for Means?

Already did. And for every other future Vol that signs today.

Hiring Osovet is exactly like Ok State hiring Yurcich when they did. At the end of the day, if he's the offensive savant he seems to be, we'll be glad we made the hire in a few years.

Is that Nolan Smith? SMH............. our bagmen are weak sauce... That is why GA is still reeling them in and we are signing Meh... I am not sure we HAVE bagmen at this point. Probably making Pruitt crazy since he is used to being like Oprah and giving everyone anything they want at AL...
