Cutchlow is a 17-year veteran of the athletic performance industry, and he's regarded as one of the top coaches in the trade. For the past 12 years, he's directed athletic performance for football programs, including the last four at his alma mater Memphis, where he's played a big role in Memphis developing into one of the top programs in the American Conference. The Tigers won the AAC and finished 10-3 overall in 2014, and followed up with another strong 9-4 season in 2015, spending much of the season ranked in the top-25. During his time with Memphis, Cutchlow aided in the development of Memphis quarterback Paxton Lynch, a Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award finalist and projected first-round NFL draft pick.
1st- Why are you using ESPN? Lol
2nd- we are ahead on every other service.
3rd- Our Star/Rating average is significantly higher on both sites
That ought to piss penny off too. Anything to put a briar in penny's underwear is fine by me.Use some of that art of war crap and recruit the guy at Mizzou to be our S&C guy. He played at Memphis and he has been at Mizzou since 2012 when they were whipping our ass to close out the Dooley years. For all the two stars they recruited they have sure nuff owned our asses.
-HubbsTennessee’s coaches have worked the phones all day. The Vol commits all seem solid.
The staff has spoken to DL Justin Eboigbe. Eboigbe has tweeted out his final schools and decision tomorrow. A couple of people we have spoken with tonight feel like it will end of being Alabama when the ink is dry on the papers. But Tennessee has been swinging hard there today.
But as of 11:30 tonight there doesn't appear to be any surprises brewing for tomorrow, but coaches are and will be on the phone for a while longer tonight I'm sure.
Not sure what any of you think about this theory but I do have a theory that UT has spent so much time investing all this money in things that ultimately don't make a good football program that in a lot of ways we simply forgot to show up, work hard, develop guys, have fun, and let results follow. That ought to piss penny off too. Anything to put a briar in penny's underwear is fine by me.
What are some of your most memorable night before signing day stories?
The Lamar Dawson saga was one. I believe someone said just wait till everyone hears what Coach O did. I thought Vol Nation might melt down. Bad but memorable.
Will be interesting to see if we let everyone sign tomorrow that wants to sign tomorrow. If we take all 16 current early signees (assuming Beasley decides to sign early) plus Gray on Thursday and a WR, then hold spots for Wright, Crouch, To'oto'o and Harris (assuming he clears academically), the class is full. If the coaches think we're close on other top targets or want to leave more spots open to see who's available in Feb, they'll need to hold off letting some guys sign early.
I've always said you have to show incremental improvements in each and every facet of the program. We should see a better class this year than last and in 2020 than this year. We should see an improvement on the field. I'm not talking g so much about wins and losses (that too) but more about how we compete on the field. This comes from being, faster, stronger, and have more stamina than last year. That comes from off season work. While the strength coach is an integral part and fitz is a known commodity, if he leaves, I have no doubt we'll hire an equally qualified coach to take his spot. If we show improvement in all those little areas, Pruitt will have something to sell other than a vision. If he can recruit this well after a 5-7 year, right behind a 4-8 year, he'll be able to bring in even more awesome recruits when he has evidence to prove his vision. We shave to crawl be we walk, beat the Vandy, Missouri, and SC of the SECE, like it's a regular thing, then walk, be competitive with the elites, and then run, win our fair share against the elites. It all starts with incremental improvements in all facets of the program. Not sure what any of you think about this theory but I do have a theory that UT has spent so much time investing all this money in things that ultimately don't make a good football program that in a lot of ways we simply forgot to show up, work hard, develop guys, have fun, and let results follow.
I still contend Pruitt's only job for next two years is to beat UK, Mizzou, Vandy, and SC. The rest will come if we do that.
Henry and Clemons aren’t signing tomorrow and I don’t expect them to be apart of this class, so there’s two available spots. Will be interesting to see if we let everyone sign tomorrow that wants to sign tomorrow.
