Penny knows he still technically lives and coaches in the state of Tennessee right? Like, there are Tennessee fans that are born, live their whole lives, and die in Memphis. He's fixing to be real miserable if he doesn't cut the crap. Calling Rick Barnes "low class" is one of the most nonsensical things I have ever heard and I would wager the "Doug Mathews 95%" that the rest of college basketball feels the same way. Utter idiocy being displayed here.
He's pulling a Kiffin. Controversial comments to get attention, Memphis kids probably eating it up. Of all people to start ish with, Rick Barnes?
Bet he would have done the same with any coach at UT because Penny is at Memphis.

He's still a major dumbass though. Epic level.

I'm promoting him to Colonel Dumbass.

No one has said they don’t agree with kids being able to transfer. People just object to it resulting in free agency and not having to sit out a year. Distinct difference.

I want kids to be happy. They can do what they want. They just have to sit a year unless there is a hardship waiver.
And this is how it began. They can go. Just sit 1 year.

It makes sense that they would throw the house at alumni in order to right their ship. If I were an alum and saw my school going through a real tough patch -and they wanted me back to help get it together - it would be tough to turn them down.
I'm sticking to my guns that, I'll believe it when I see it; and if it happens, I'll totally own it, and eat my crow.

But, if he does leave, I'll think less of him, and it looks bad on him. I totally understand the draw, back to one's alma mater, and wanting to help right the ship; however, I have read comments by Fitz, talking about how grateful he is to Pruitt for giving him the opportunity to be back in college ranks. We've invested the second highest salary in the country in him, and COMPLETELY rebuilt the weight room for him, it is his, every square inch, more investment. Not to mention, he knows very well our situation, and how S&C, and it's instability, has been a huge part of our downfall; and to leave all that after one year, and the man you're grateful to...

Most football programs do the same types of lifts. The key is finding a guy that knows how to motivate and push the players to get stronger. Fitz does that extremely well.

Just curious, why are you asking? Don’t take that question the wrong way lol
Not at all...my brother is curious. He's in a conversation with someone who has made an outrageous claim, and he was needing to know the answer to those questions.
