I think it will make all teams work harder if they know they have a chance to get to the playoffs by winning their conference. Winning your conference used to mean something. Right now there's only about 8 teams with a chance to be one of 4. It's boring. Plus I would hate it if Tennessee was to be left out one year if they won the SEC with 2 losses and were left out.
