This bolded part is false and you’ve provided nothing to back it up. There are records here going back to at least 2010 on the accuracy of the advisory committee.

I was a passionate draftnik since the mid 80’s but that’s waned the last few years...so not that long ago. I googled to be sure of the date and that hasn’t changed.

Your point is exactly why I think it has to be 8 teams to get closer to being fair. You throw ND in there with Okie, then UGA enters into the picture and more times than not beats both. We can see that is the likely reality, but it makes no difference in this system.

ND has to be undefeated and they haven’t made that an annual event. I’m no Fighting Irish advocate, but the NCAA seems to be playing it straight with this one. They played a national schedule and won every game.
