Quart'e Sapp declares for draft

He is graduating with a degree right? I hope its something he can fall back on, .

Most degrees earned by football players aren't worth the paper they are printed on. College degrees are not as valuable as they were 20 years ago. Kids who learn a trade will probably make more than the vast majority of college grads over their lifetime.

No surprise he isn't coming back. He's one that was expected to leave or be asked to move on. No surprise, he's going to make himself available for the draft either. This seems to have become common place for UT players with zero chance of being drafted. He'll get a chance to make a team, good luck to him.

After 4 yrs and getting their degree, some guys are just tired of it. "declaring" is an egotistical way of saying "I'm done."

Assuming that Bituli and/or Kirkland don't transfer, then he wouldn't have gotten a lot of playing time anyway. Ignont had seemingly passed him for playing time by the end of the season. It was the draft or graduate transfer. He took the former. Best of luck to him. Doubt he gets drafted, but he is a great athlete so he should test really well at pro day.

Leaving early for a practice squad spot? Makes absolutely zero sense. Sounds like he just didn’t want to go to school.

Good luck to young Mr Sapp. And may he know that some of us are sending good vibes his way.

Hopefully this positivity can offset all the prayers of the "Vol Fans" begging God above that he not be drafted lest they be wrong about the talent that was on this team. That's the sad thing about players on the current roster. Their alma maters fans will be keeping their fingers crossed that they none get drafted as that might make the current coaching staff look a little less than heroic.

He is graduating with a degree right? I hope its something he can fall back on, I don't see NFL in his future. Don't get me wrong, these guys, if anything are athletes, but your talking about being in the top 1% to get in the NFL.......I am not seeing it.........I am not even seeing practice squad.

Does anyone have access to his Stats? If I am wrong, so being it, but what make him think they are interested..............his agent?........only guy getting paid is the agent.

Doubt an agent can get much of a percentage of nothing. Those guys are skilled but not enough to get money from an undrafted player.

got a question for you guys you seem to know every thing. why does an athletes have to have an agent is it to get him more money or do they have to have 1. I would always think that their play on a field or court would get them more money.

I guess he's received a decent draft grade. Unfortunately he was plagued with injuries, and I think another year of college ball would have greatly benefited him.

Best of luck to Q!

I want to take my time and say, you have been a true VFL, your video was touching. Thank you for playing on that football field. Thank you for loving the fans, the University, and everyone that surrounded you. These fans and I will never forget you. Now, go on and show the NFL and everyone else who you represent, and go play hard. You will succeed. That can be taken to the bank.
