over time, I think he will be good at getting back there. As far as this weekend, I would be surprised if he had much impact. maybe by Georgia he can help

weight wise he is lighter then either Walker or Martin who are both about 240. I would put Gerald at about 230.

he played a little against UAB. WHat i hear, is they will likely play the first 3 as much as they can possibly go. Langley and Thomas are only ready to provide a few snaps for the others to get a few minutes rest, not to be productive.

o ok, well i thought Langley was actually going to be contributing by this game but i guess he got behind when he got suspended

he was never at 260. Don't ever believe those posted weights, heights, speeds or weight lifts. Bougs, majority of the time.

I noticed on replay of UAB they said Stephens was 6'4" 215.. wayyyyyyyyyyyyy offffffffffffffff. no where near that big

Langley will be a decent player before he leaves but he is not a Henderson or Haynesworth. Most defensive lineman really "start to contribute" third year unless a super talent (he ain't that). Likely be a junior before he can really make significant contributions.

no. even this fall when I saw him at practice, still struggling to understand where to lineup and where to go after snap.. going to take a while. He MIGHT work way up to special teams (got in twice Saturday late on ST)

IMO, the kid was done a major dis-service with his high school ranking..

Good info thanks.. what about Edwin Herbert coming in next year do you think he will be ready to play right away?

Thanks for the update. I have been a Donald supporter since he was in HS. I was afraid that when he signed it would take him at least 3 maybe four years to get on the field. Small town west TN school district hurt him to. He was a man among boys, once he gets it all together though, he will suprise some people. I am still pulling for ya CD!

Who's the backup MLB then? And why in the world would they move Williams to DE. I thought he could make an excellent MLB next year, this is strange.

Just get GW on the field somewhere... PLease! Anyone notice Ben Martin. Got alot of PT against UAB. IMO him and Chris Walker looked better than Brown and Ayers.

I know i feel the same way even if its at cornerback just let him come on a corner blitz and knock out tebow, i dont care if Harvin goes streaking down the sideline and its a late hit i just want gerald to hit tebow, even a cheapshot just like whoever it was that gave T Martin a cheap shot.. im still a little angry over that

I think he goes back to MLB eventually, but as far as getting him on the field the quickest by way of DE, I applaud the coaching staff...

Yeah, he will go back. But I knew we needed him more at DE before the season started and was hoping he would go there.
