Exactly! Because Doug Matthews knows nothing about any of this right? Give me a break. I'm willing to bet he knows infinitely more about it than anyone on this forum. He's not making anyone listen to him. You and everyone else have free will, right? Use it.

Okay, I understand, Doug knows what's up. Still doesn't make sense that everything is so hush hush this close to ESD if we already have our guy.

Does it really matter what he knows or what he doesn't. Moot point because non of us know....He probably knows more but not enough to tell anything....He and Fulmer are close....I find it odd that he is the only one that is stating this and has not backed off in a week or so saying he knows...

I agree with what you are saying....and state that Doug Matthews would not be stirring this pot if he did not know infinitely.... Like he said RELAX....Expect the announce IMO after ESD.....Do you Agree with that....

Yeah, I mean it is what it is. We can't control any of it and no one is asking our opinions. Pruitt knows who it is and has his reasons for not announcing it. it really doesn't matter what we think. Coordinators come and go. It's usually no big deal, not sure why this one has so many people up in arms.

Yea and it just doesn't make sense. I'm sure it will eventually, but I ain't gonna lie, I'm really anxious to find out. I mean, if Pruitt had been here a few years and the "jury" wasn't still out on him, we weren't in such bad shape and ESD wasn't next week, I might not be as anxious.

From what I can tell the recruiting talking heads dont think this has hurt recruiting specifically for ESD. From what I gather our commits are pretty solid.
I guess having a top 3 2020 QB who has plenty of time to wait before committing or signing jumping in during the middle of this makes it easier to believe. He could have easily put off his announcement a few weeks.

The recruiting forum is a buzz about all the guys visiting this weekend.

ok, but all the anxiousness in the world is not gonna change a thing. I mean exactly how long or appropriately long should an offensive coordinator search take? What's considered normal and not? A day, week, two weeks? I would say as long as it takes. Oh, and what authoritative body decides that? Is there a committee? A department of Offensive Coordinator search time? Standard search timetable? Just curious.
