Like most other people, I get upset when we lose. I try to not say anything because as I read most of the post on this thread, and some others, I see how absolutely ridiculous it looks to see supposed fans of Tennessee acting like spoiled brats with no regard to the effect they are having upon the hopes for things to get better.
I cannot even imagine what a recruit thinks when they are shown these attitudes of many UT fans. Yes, I know it is a small portion of fans, but to them it can be made to seem as if the whole fan base is crazy, and that they would be stepping into a situation where those fans would abandon them in a heartbeat if they mess up.
Coach Pruitt is the right man for the job at UT, and he will get it done, even though he has to defeat the naysayers along with the teams he plays. The job he stepped into was loaded with obstacles, but he has made tremendous progress.
To have fans from other schools throwing out all the garbage is one thing, but the constant barrage of negative, thoughtless comments by our "own fans", is unbelievable.
I hope he hires a fantastic OC, and pulls in a great recruiting class, and I would hope when he does, and Tennessee moves back to our rightful place among the elites of college football, there will be a big bar-b-que for all those who will be honest enough to eat crow.
