But to be fair, it is really on chaos to us as fans. To the rest of everyone involved, it really doesnt matter much what the local media speculates as far as who has been interviewed, who has been offered.the cause of the chaos with FSU and Tennessee is easy to spot. Media members need to do a better job vetting sources. An agent as a source is easily the most untrustworthy source out there. The media needs to accept that they've been made into puppets of agendas and sleazy agent car salesman type tactics. Be better.
As a fan base, the quickest way to do it is to reject the "sources tell me..." type of "journalists".
regarding the agent sources, there should be a way to report ethics violations by leaking fake interviews and interests. it's gotten old and pathetic.
Yurcich was interviewed Thursday. That we know. It was reportedly rumored by many media members that he was offered the job on Friday and was considered the favorite by Pruitt. Then there was an offer rumored on the weekend saying the offer was 1.3 million.
Yurcich turned down Auburn last year and also turned down a position on Bama last year. Could he be waiting for a HC position to open? Or could be something in the contract that they are working? All of those are possible.
At this point Pruitt hasn't interviewed anyone this week, so take that as good news.
Bingo. There are two football coaches running this search. And two old school guys at that. I’m sure they don’t have social media on their phones. They don’t follow or monitor the fanbase’s mood. Good or bad, they are two guys that are focused on football and recruiting. But to be fair, it is really on chaos to us as fans. I agree with that. But to be fair, it is really on chaos to us as fans. To the rest of everyone involved, it really doesnt matter much what the local media speculates as far as who has been interviewed, who has been offered.
Why would he interview if he is waiting for a HC job? It's not like he is unemployed.Yurcich was interviewed Thursday. That we know. Most of those were already on staff. The offense consistently backslid under Sanders.Wrong, Fulmer had one bad hire in Clawson and he wasn't a bad coach, as we see by him being a head coach now, his ideas just didn't mesh well with what we needed at the time. Cut, Chavis, Sanders, Brooks, Taylor, Adkins, Slade they were putting people in the league and coaching kids up. That was one of the top staffs in the country at the time.
