Harrison Bailey disagrees. Though not official it seems Eric Gray probably disagrees as well.

Bailey is a 2020 recruit, so as it stands he has nothing to lose right now. Gray hasn't signed yet has he? So ya can't say either have signed now can ya? I wouldn't be surprised if Gray ends up else where

I believe I specifically stated “though not official, it seems”. So yes technically he hasn’t signed. However all signs point to us being in the lead spot for Gray. But instead of twisting the statement, what effect have we seen on offensive recruiting due to not having an OC named?

Only reason would be if they are in the NFL. The NFL forbids coaching talks until the team that coach works for is done for the season. 3 weeks from now Kitchens, Sark, and Cooter are free game. They’ve probably talked already

That only applies to other NFL teams.

eh, there'll be a new flavor of the week name to pop up that everyone will clamor for....CJP has his guy already and just sitting on the info, probably part of the agreement with whoever it is. Now whether VN will like it or not is yet to be determined.
Yea I think thats BS. Why fly around interviewing if he has his man?

If I were a recruit looking at UT, I'd be a little concerned that so far there hasn't been any announcement, and I probably wouldn't just believe a coach when he says "I got a good coach coming". I think for as early signing day goes it will bite Pruitt in the butt. Who know though

If I was a poor player and was happy just to get an offer from UT. I would not care who the OC was
If I played defense or special teams, I would care less about an OC hire.
We did all this searching and ended up with Friend in the end anyway

Just remember this past off-season coaching search:

We were told we would spend big to get a great coach. For weeks, no one heard anything. Rumors ran wild on VN. I wonder who it could be? Our insiders said Gruden was all but a done deal.

Then, we find out that it had been so quiet for a couple weeks because Currie was only interested in hiring his buddy Schiano.

Keep that in mind right now. We are hearing about interviews going on. Sounds like Pruitt is getting shot down by big targets. I doubt he has already hired an OC. Of course, that's just my opinion.

Fixes everything!

Wrong! It only fixes 1/2 of everything. The half that are loose. What @ the things that are stuck? Ahhh, here we go ...

So UT is already gonna have to pay Briles a buy out since he is going to FSU now? Sounds about right! 🙄

Tifwiw but this is the radio host in Houston

Well, looks like the journalists out in TX have about as much integrity as the ones around here. He has his BS in Journalism, plays Madden on xBox, and has been around lots of football media events. All that makes him more CFB intelligent than actual coaching staffs.

Welp. I've been believing it's Kitchens for a while because of his ties to Pruitt and the situation in Cleveland... This further points me in that direction. And truthfully at this point, I'd be ecstatic with CFK.

This place NEVER dissapoints. One little tweet and so many of you go totally mental.. It's truly a sight to behold.

Actually they have been mental for some time. This is just the latest manifestation.
