I've got him on ignore, so it appears to me that they are arguing with no one...it's somewhat humorous and scary at the same time. Like when you see a crazy person walking down the street talking to themselves and answering then they start looking your way. Can't believe some of you still waste your time arguing with him. smh

If you were able to manipulate even a sixth season with this loophole, I’d consider your point. But we’re deluding ourselves if we over-romanticize what these kids are doing with their football eligibility. They’re taking a stab at a unique opportunity at the next level. Catch on with a practice squad and you’re making more than the best medical and legal field graduates pull down right out of school. These transfers are graduating college in three years...furtherest thing from manipulation. An engineering student does that and gets courted by the next school he/she wants to attend. Lot of outcry for nonexistent offense.
Awesome! What kind of questions does one ask an airplane? J/K that’s cool. We have been there from the beginning ya know. From your early days as a flight instructor (?) in Smyrna. Now you’re big time... remember the little people.
We’re talking five years of eligibility...nothing’s changed. A student athlete gets his degree. Who are we to quibble over two superfluous years? You're conflating my dislike of the grad transfer rule with Bruin's dislike of QD's actions. I don't care that he took advantage of the rule, or if he learned lessons, or whatever. It's none of my business.
My problem with the grad transfer rule is that it toes as close to the "student-athlete concept is a farce" line as you can go without completely going over.
Yeah, we do know what they're doing with their football eligibility, and we know that it often has nothing to do with academics. But if the rules don't in some way align with the traditional 4-5 yr bachelor degree model, it does beg the question why we are limiting their eligibility at all.
And I promise I'm not just trying to belabor a point. I'm genuinely curious as to how you view this.
