Pruitt has waited this long to make the announcement. If Coach Mathews is correct, and an OC is chosen, he will probably wait until the end of next weekend.

There seems to be so much misdirection going on. You have Hyams and Matthews saying he is waiting and you have others that are saying he is not. Some have said the meetings at the end of last week were interviews and Matthews says they were just talking about offense. I don’t know what to believe anymore. Matthews has taken a pretty bold stance that no one else has taken. I know this is day 15 and we still don’t have an OC.

Typically either the coaches know one another or it is agent driven. Cash discussions are always agent handled since that is their job.

Hyams says pretty it gets announced this week...I would not be shocked if it isn't announced until after ESD. Particularly if it's Enos or Cheney.

Yea if that’s true. And honestly if it is...and you consider you just paid 1.2 for Helton... 1.35 is really a bargain for someone with his background.

Exactly. You have to at least pay him what Helton made. With the way contracts are and if it starts at 1.3ish then by year 3 it would probably be up to around 1.5

I’m down with Yurcich if that’s the way we go, but has there been some report or statement on Enos’s status at Bama that has everyone taking him off the list? It wouldn’t surprise me if he is staying with Bama, I just haven’t seen anything on it recently.

I don't think is misdirection. Just the fact that no one knows what the hell is going on.

That’s what i think. Locksley tried to get Gattis but Gattis declined (which then sent butch with him)... i thought it would be the opposite, Gattis go and butch stay. I think him and Enos will be co-OCs
