One of the coaches Tennessee interviewed for its offensive coordinator vacancy addressed the situation publicly on Sunday night.

Oklahoma State offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach Mike Yurcich said "nothing is going on" between him and the Vols when asked to address the potential move by GoPokes.com, the 247Sports affiliate covering the Cowboys.

"There's nothing going on," Yurcich told GoPokes.com's Robert Allen after Oklahoma State's Senior Football Banquet on Sunday night. "Hey, I would tell you if something is up. You have been good to me."

Yurcich is not happy in Stillwater. He’s been the scapegoat there. The fans like Gundy and want him to take over the offense.

I say all that to say 1) he wants our job and 2) he won’t care to lie to them on the way out.

He knows some people. He used to be in a group of guys that met in Nashville for lunch occasionally that included Larry.

I texted him a few minutes ago and he is at work. Only thing he said was getting killed on VQ.
