Damn right, big time. Explosive offense without the baggage of Freeze or Briles, too.

Offensive playmakers are about to line up if this gets done. Harrison Bailey's going to be a happy man.

Ok, so now that we zeroed in on our next target, how are we going to Tennessee this thing up?

My only concern is that the OSU people hate Yurcich. Not sure why, but they don’t like him. Are we certain he calls the plays and not Gundy?

He calls plays since day 1 that he got there. It's typical fans always hate their OC especially when been around for awhile. They don't understand that they should hate their D.C. In that league more as the OC puts up plenty of pts to win

Also their best 2 players were not out

Exactly. The announcers even were wondering how they were going to get get back in with the talent they have. Gonzaga has incredible talent through out their bench but they got beat by some 3* BOSS HOGS !! The Admiral took command and back up his trashing talk he was doing with Varnell. LOl

Ron, I ask this not trying to be a smart azz. But why do you think playmakers would like up? They are currently 8th in their conference recruiting rankings and no WR committed yet to their 19 class.

The OKC fans wanted a big name when Gundy hired a no name in Yurcich. Does that sound familiar to you? That's the problem with fans. He's done a great job for OKC but their fan base can't get over where he came from. They see Oklahoma losing coaches and replacing them with big name guys and they want the same thing. If they could beat Oklahoma on a regular basis, Yurcich might be a rock star in their eyes.

However, he relinquished play calling duties to an offensive coordinator a few seasons ago; and Gundy admitted to Miller that it wasn't easy.

"It was extremely difficult," Gundy said, according to Miller. "It was like a teenager not being able to play video games. That's really the way it was, but it was something I felt was best for our football team -- for me to be more of an organizer of the big picture in recruiting and marketing and the media and different things."

That’s from an OSU website in 2015. So Gundy has never called the plays while Yurcich has been there.
