We only have one WR committed right now, Ramel Keyton. He and Tillman are very much built in the same mold as Calloway and Jennings. None of those guys are burners.

It’s hard to make an intelligent argument that we’d be better off next season without Callaway and Jennings.

I agree completely. He can’t afford to botch this hire. It will be the beginning of the end for him. Unless...



Unless, he was planted by Saban to destroy what little bit of a football program we have left.

The problem is..it may be process of elimination by the candidates we know.

I think Briles will end up at FSU..if it was him something else would have came out like “closing in, narrowing down”.

I don’t think Yurcich will come here, he’s in a better situation right now.

People are saying Saban is trying to keep Enos and has promised him Co-OC job.

So that basically leaves us with....Lebby.

"They know who they’re gonna hire. When they’re gonna do it, I don’t know.”

This is transcripts from the show. Maybe it will at least put a stop to the
"why would we have made a hire and not announce" stuff.

Or we wait for a NFL candidate. Yet again though, Matthews said we already have our guy.

I should have put in a 3rd option, they've actually made the hire and are not revealing it.

There are like 8 better options currently on staff than Lebby.

I looked at lebby's 1 year as OC and what was interesting was looking at the year before he arrived and the numbers for this year, big jump, big drop when he left

I just want to try again to get the quote right.
Despite linking it and everything else, people keep making the case that he said the hire had been made. Hard to slow down VN on a rant.
That leaves the possibility of more candidates and Mathews not lying, open.

I wonder if Latrell Williams - who by several accounts was having a summer before hamstring issues - could benefit from a full season with Fitzgerald.

I think Jacquez Jones will transfer out. Idk about Latrell Williams though.

They know who there going to hire, just dont know when? Thats the same thing as delaying an announcement unless someone is trying to get out of a contract

Great effort. Clutch play making. Defense was good enough. Between KU and Gonzaga, I think that's as close to tournament ball as we could get...

He also said it was done didn't he? I know he said 95% at one point but earlier I thought he said it was done. I guess it's how you define "done". To me that means it's a hire. Maybe in his view it's two parties have agreed on the basics and still working on the details.
