But AV didn't like my pic of Chaney that night.
If it turns out to be Chaney, AV owes me a like. Or he has me on ignore. Could go either way tbh.

Chaney just wants a raise and would have no reason to stick at UGA for a bowl game.

Enos could still be announced and coach just like Pruitt did if it were him.
He has a lot of respect for his alma mater and Saban so he may be keeping it quiet on Saban's or Enos' request.
None of the NFL guys are on teams with playoff hopes so why stick there? More beneficial to get them here and start recruiting.
Contracts and buyouts may dictate keeping it quiet.
Why would they STILL be talking to people as of Friday? AV even corroborated that. Doug is talking out of his ass trying to help his buddy Fulmer by trying to calm the masses.
it's been said he may be picking peoples brain about offensive philosophy with some of these guys. Missed where AV said Mathews was talking out of his backside.

It was intentional. She initially said that she thought it was her own apartment and thought he was an intruder that had broken in, but neighbors heard her pounding the door and arguing with him beforehand. I tend to back the blue but not when they’re garbage cops (and humans) like this beeyotch.

He said that PF and CJP tell him things that he will not share on his show because it is information he would not get if he hadn't coached with PF. Basically, he knows and he isn't telling.

Man, there is such a stark difference between Bama and UT programs right now. We are stressing over an OC search because it could literally determine whether we are in a rebuilding cycle again in a few years and meanwhile Bama just doesn’t care because it is plug and play and they just know whoever gets the job will work out.

In Butchna and InVOL camp on Chaney and have been since I heard about his current contract situation. My take remains that Chaney has no desire to be a HC and has no problems with relocating to Knoxville. If he is willing to walk from Pittman, he can get a new 3 year deal with a strong pay bump to come back to where he never wanted to leave - until Butch decided not to hire him into the "best staff in America". He seems to always fit in well with the staffs he has worked with in the past. If you were going to fight to retain him (UGA), you would have already done so with an extension IMO. Taking away QB coach responsibilities was an insult when he had just developed a true freshman QB well enough to play for the NC after winning the SECCG. Also fits AV posts.

Agree on the second half play calling issues in big, contested games. CJP will need to override his tendency to get pass happy and go away from the run game. But his system works well and has the ability to control clock or speed up as necessary. If Enos ends up being the man I will be equally happy - good coach.

Go big or go home. No wannabes, please.

Thought I read in one of the articles that reportedly there was a lot of noise coming from his apartment from time to time and she didn't like it. Annoying, but does that deserve the death penalty?

Matthews is very conservative with his takes. Even more so than Hubbs. He will always phrase a take as “his opinion” or “in my experience”. So for him to say it’s done, means it’s done OR he was straight up lied to by whoever told him that. If true, and Briles interviews with FSU today, we know he’s out.

Personally, I don’t know why this has been such a secretive process. Im starting to think Pruitt is a complete hiring idiot and Fulmer is having to hold his hand through it all or he parlays as a part time CIA operative and has mastered the skill of misdirection.
