The Atlanta Braves - Hello darkness my old friend

I get the allure of the option. When run correctly (not like Navy today) it can be beautiful to watch. And I agree with you about Tech, it's a gimmick and now that the ACC has seen plenty of times they have caught up.

Georgia Southern still runs it too, right?
Southern is a hybrid offense at this point. Still has option, but a lot of shotgun and spread looks.

It's probably just that as a Tech fan by osmosis I think Tech should have real football players and they shouldn't have to resort to that stuff.
I agree 100%. As many athletes as there are within 50 miles of North Ave, they ought to be able to take the leftovers and be competitive in the ACC.

How much do the academic requirements actually impact their recruiting efforts?

I'm sure it's an issue, but it's been so long since they had a staff that was actually recruiting a lot of elite talent that it's hard to tell. Paul Johnson was recruiting to the triple option and nobody knows what Chan Gailey was thinking.

Freshman calculus is no joke. And there's no exception for football. Supposedly a common tactic for coaches who are competing against Tech for a recruit is to bring a calculus textbook along to a visit.

Ah. Took longer than I thought for some weirdos to go digging through Kyler Murray's old tweets. The old lets wait till they win an award before we dig routine.

If we all were judged for what we said as teenagers, doubt very few people in this world would "look good".

And I don't know how much of it is bandwaggony and how much of it is going to be sticky but it's astounding how much of a fan presence the MLS team has around Atlanta. It's been way beyond what I expected.

What did he say?

I've got a kid looking at GT right now. I knew it was a good school, but I don't think I realized how elite it actually is.

I know I’m the only one here who still thinks Adam Duvall can help the Braves, but I’d be interested in a Pederson/Duvall platoon in left
