I promise you I have never once posted that any player sucked and seriously doubt that I have posted that about a coach.

The player bashing is shameful and a ridiculous way of propping up poor coaching and rookie mistakes.

Pointing out that several on our staff are rookies in their positions and will and have made mistakes isnt beong negative even though it seems to hurt the souls of some of the lapdogs.

Pointing out that this team progressed very littl in the last 12 months isnt being negative it simply stating the obvious for those blinded by optimism.

Pointing out that the AD likely hired a guy that agreed to allow him to be more involved than ADs typically and should be isnt being negative. Just stating that we are probably in for a long ride back to relevancy.

But if starting threads and about other posters turns your crank have at it. It won't make this team any better

I agree with the lack of experience on the coaching staff definitely hurt us this year, never said you dumped on the team and coaches but the NegaVols do it constantly, the conspiracy stuff about Fulmer is just that, before he leaves I bet he raises more money for athletics tha anyone we've ever had at that position and I can't see how any fan would consider him a negative as AD. As for calling folks out in my post I didn't define any specific poster as a NegaVol, those guys come out of the woodwork like cockroaches and out themselves. Which side are you on as you seem to be concerned about their simple little feelings?

But I would doubt his Baylor, FAU, Houston teams just had elite OLs either. Those aren't exactly common stops for blue chip linemen.

In fact, Baylor never recruited a 4 star OL when he was there. A couple of 87.5 rated guys were the best there and they ran all over people.

We've been Horizontal U the last decade, in my opinion. I swear, over analyzation to get the advantages these days are confounding.

I like that Pruitt and Fulmer can keep a secret and avoid unwanted leaks and suspect that will become a valuable tool for our program somewhere down the road! I've guessed at it as much as everyone but I think we as fans can help out a bit by supporting CJP and Fulmer, they're our guys, one of them has bled orange his whole life and one has committed the next however many years of his life to helping restore the program, here's hoping that they pull it off!

Hello Everyone, new to the board and long time lurker. I have to humbly take up for the OP here. @PulaskiVolFan seems to be spot on for most of his posts. While he maybe slightly harsh, he brings the noise with great insight. Kudos to you sir!

I've worn it out posting against peep who use this board as an emotional commode, trashing coaches and players with exaggerated criticisms, etc., etc., etc. But dude, we just lost to Vandy for what, the third year in a row, and that was after being slain by Mizzou. These are not happy days.

These are not happy days indeed. The only hope I have is in Fulmer. However, rumors indicate that Fulmer and Pruitt aren’t seeing eye to eye at the moment and the boosters are caught hearing it in between.

Maybe it’s still the fallout from Vandy or it’s something more.

This just seems like a juvenile comment to me, as no, it's pretty impossible for the fans to be responsible for the team's success or failure. Fans do have an impact on the overall program but not wins and losses on the field. I would just assume most fans feel the same and I would avoid debating someone that thought different because it's so ridiculous to believe otherwise. I also would not comment to someone a question I hope they answered stupidly so that I could call them out on it.

Never said they were happy days, saddest 2-10 years in our history, moaning and groaning hasn't been working, time to try something different!

Could be me but last time I checked, our coaches would get to make those same living room visits and meet those same kids and their parents. Negative recruiting is real and vicious . I would say it was not a big deal if we were on level footing with some of our conference sisters. So a kid is deciding between UGA and UT . One is a winner and the other is not . That one thing could be the deciding factor for some ...why take a chance on building a program that may have some issues when we can go to a winner without having to worry about the issues.

Having been through the recruiting process myself , with my brother , and finally with my daughter ...yeah there is a lot that comes up and a lot that's looked at by the parents . Just like buying a car , there are different things that may a deal and break a deal for different people. Some mom or grandma would not be able to see past this issue.

Agreed ….but those issues are not going to help us overcome it . If some teams won't hire him , then some kids and their families wouldn't play for him.

Rumors are flying in every direction because it’s so easy to start one these days. Lots of haters out there. Pay them no mind.
