Since he's at least been mentioned, here's a profile.

2017 Vanderbilt - 28.27 (105)
2018 Vanderbilt - 28.92 (117)

2016 Vanderbilt - 41 / 70
2017 Vanderbilt - 45 / 50
2018 Vanderbilt - 45 / 36

Wouldn't be an exciting hire, and I think Enos/Briles/Yurcich are far better options, but Vandy was an absolute mess offensively when he got there and now he has them outperforming the talent they have there.
Yuck, nothing to be excited about here.

AV said after this was over he would discuss the traveler has come comment and how it PLAYED into the search. Past tense
Nice pick up! I think I am starting to put the pieces of the puzzle together now. The traveler is Lane Kiffin… You know the guy who has traveled to numerous different jobs. The traveler, Lane Kiffin, has come… And we have made our choice. Pruitt chose Briles, because Kiffin highly recommended him, and Kiffin would like nothing more than for Pruitt and Briles to take down Saban and Bama.

If we hire Vanderbilts OC... im probably out for a while

Meanwhile Gus has zeroed in on his OC, the RB coach at South Carolina lol. That ship is sinking faster than the Titanic. Good luck over there Pappoe
Those Auburn dudes are ridiculous. Give Gus a massive contract last year and then completely sabatage him after this season. With those stipulations for hiring his coaches they are trying to tank him.

It's not briles

It's not Chaney

He's already on staff. It was meant to look like a thorough search, but at the end they got their boy.

The traveler is from the movie 'line of fire' nickname for the president
Staypuft is straight forward.
He has sec experience.

That's right, it's none other than Phil Fulmer!

Alright, that is my take on the riddle
He will probably turn it down.

Lookout boys. From the FSU guys at 247 concerning Briles:

"Got some more info after I posted this. It sounds like Tennessee is more of a player in this than I thought. I'm working to confirm that Briles was offered the OC job.”
So wait you have inside info? I thought you were like me just fishing.

Honestly I don't get the love for Chaney. He never impressed me at TN or Arky. He looks good now because he has superior talent.

Now Sam Pittman is another story. Without a doubt one of the three top offensive line coaches in CFB.
