Ludwig coaching career the last 20 years:

"From 1998–2001, Ludwig was in Fresno State, where he was a finalist for the Broyles Award in 2001. From 2002 to 2004, Ludwig was the offensive coordinator at Oregon. After some difficult years, Ludwig was hired by close personal friend and newly named Utah head coach Kyle Whittingham for the 2005 season. Following the 2009 Sugar Bowl, Ludwig accepted the offensive coordinator position at Kansas State, but two months later he was hired to be the offensive coordinator for the California Golden Bears for the 2009 season. In 2011, Ludwig was hired by new San Diego Statecoach Rocky Long to be offensive coordinator for the Aztecs. Ludwig was hired to be the offensive coordinator for the Wisconsin Badgers for the 2013 season. After spending two seasons as the offensive coordinator at Wisconsin, he began the 2015 season under Derek Mason at Vanderbilt University as the offensive coordinator.

I've convinced myself it's Chaney. I think matthew's comment about being 95% done was an indicator that there's a handshake agreement in place, and it won't come out until after GA's bowl game.

If its Chaney, I dont know why it couldnt go on and be announced now. UGA isnt playing for anything, and besides that, coordinators have been announced for other jobs even on playoff teams in years past.

Since he's at least been mentioned, here's a profile.

Andy Ludwig:

Tempo
2013 Wisconsin - 28.71 (113)
2014 Wisconsin - 28.76 (120)
2015 Vanderbilt - 25.08 (69)
2016 Vanderbilt - 27.78 (107)
2017 Vanderbilt - 28.27 (105)
2018 Vanderbilt - 28.92 (117)

Talent (247 composite rank) / Offensive Efficiency (SOS-adjusted rank)
2013 Wisconsin - 37 / 21
2014 Wisconsin - 37 / 13
2015 Vanderbilt - 44 / 106
2016 Vanderbilt - 41 / 70
2017 Vanderbilt - 45 / 50
2018 Vanderbilt - 45 / 36

Wouldn't be an exciting hire, and I think Enos/Briles/Yurcich are far better options, but Vandy was an absolute mess offensively when he got there and now he has them outperforming the talent they have there.

And what about Briles interviewing at FSU? Just wanting your take.

Idk about FSU. We got the first interview and more money than FSU. So i think if we want him we will get him. Unless he thinks tag would give him full control and they have a better roster.

Lookout boys. From the FSU guys at Rivals concerning Briles:

"Got some more info after I posted this. It sounds like Tennessee is more of a player in this than I thought. I'm working to confirm that Briles was offered the OC job.”
The only reason that interview at FSU is still scheduled is because Briles is trying to drive up his price. JMO
