We aren’t going to win many games trying to copy Bama and UGA schemes with our current roster, we just aren’t. We need to be innovative, and win some games we aren’t supposed to next fall to get recruiting rolling. What are we selling kids right now? We are trying to be a poor mans Bama?

I disagree completely. The Heisman is for the most valuable player, correct? OU’s defense was ranked 60 spots behind TENNESSEE and their in the playoffs. Without him, that doesn’t happen. We saw what happens when Tua left the game. They still win. JMO...

He had an injured ankle, and by the 4th quarter, had two injured ankles, when he finally left the game. He had 2 interceptions in that game, which doubled his total for the year to 4, against 37 touchdowns. As someone mentioned in the middle of the night, that was against 8 top 25 defenses.

Personally, I still think it is a political award, and many voters are persuaded to vote against the SEC. So, just like with Peyton, they are framing it any way they can, in order to get the desired result. Obviously, Hurts is a very capable college QB. So, certainly Bama might have still won all their games. I just think with Tua, it was usually over well before halftime against some pretty good teams. He should not be penalized for being so good.

Welcome to another episode of "as the OC turns" Now we join VN as the rumors fly in and the frustration grows to a fevered pitch. Will Hank bring any info that stick? Will AV make an appearance that gives hope ? Will Ron Swanson be the one to break the story of who the next oc is? Will the invasion of idiots from FF continue to jump the wall into RF? Stay tune as we join the VN crew in this riveting, spell binding thiller! AS THE OC TURNS !

Give me Enos
I really don’t understand, based on the evidence from his time at Arkansas, why everyone is so excited about this hire. Maybe he would be great but I’m not sure he would. Is it because he’s coaching Tua?

I said it throughout the season, we tried to fit a square peg in a round hole. We didn't have the hosses to be a power running team but we sure as heck tried to be. We need an OC that can exploit the talent that we have and then transition to a power running team when we have the personnel if that's what Pruitt wants the offense to look like.

You can adapt the system after you get the horses, I totally agree

That's unbelievable that OK could make the playoffs when ranked that on D no matter how good their offense is.
