I hope its Briles or yurcich. The "2nd interview in their home state as well this week" comment may have more to it. He says "their home state...this week." Where all has Pruitt been this week recruiting. Almost have a feeling its Propst. Lol. Has Pruitt been to Ohio, Texas, Oklahoma, Georgia, or Alabama this week?

So, my son has worked at the same company I do for the past six years. Most days we ate lunch together. Lame as it sounds for him, it was amazing for me. Today was his last day. Fantastic opportunity for him.

Kinda makes the OC search trivial and useless. So I guess I got that going for me.

I worked for my step-dad for about 2 years and would eat lunch with my mom at least once a week. I know it was the highlight of her week because my step-dad would inform me how disappointed she was whenever I had to call in sick. It wasn't lame at all but the older I get the more I appreciate things like family time and get closer to being able to see things through her eyes.

No if you really want to hurt me come at me with Fuente no S sucks after this year.

I can't believe his team took a major step back this year

Fuente's fall from grace this year just doesn't make sense to me. He was a good coach. Did Tech lose a ton of players between year one and year two?

Full disclosure - I have not watched Oklahoma or Ohio State play much if any, this season, but...I am pretty sure this will rank up there with the Peyton Manning debacle if Tagovaloa does not with the Heistman this year. The guy didn't even play much of the second halves due to his team being up by so many points. So, you punish him for being so good?!

More disclosure: I am not a Bama fan. Just sayin. Stats do not always tell the whole story.

Kyler Murray was dang good and deserves it just as much as Tua imo. It’ll be one of those two, Haskins third

Well, then either of these guys would win in 9 out of 10 years, if you ask me. I don't know that I've ever seen a better passer than Tua.

By definition, it's awarded to the most outstanding player in cfb, not the best player. That's why defensive linemen aren't usually up for the award, even though many years the best player is a defensive lineman. It's not that outstanding to sit most 4th quarters imo.

Needing only 3 qtrs to beat a team into submission = outstanding.

Two sides to the coin. Depends how much you attribute that to Tua.

It is obviously all subjective, but I think he set the bar very very high. So many times Bama had the game well in hand before the first quarter was over. With Hurts (a very good college qb) they could have won. With Tua, it was simply no contest before the half was over, most of the time.

Eight top 25 defenses he faced, and made it look easy.

Thank you all for the encouragement and prayers as we faced the hardest day of my life so far as we got my dad settle into his new home at the advanced memory care at Morning Point here in Chatttown. It had to be done my mom was really going down trying to care for him. I can now get some stress off of me as mom always calls me for help (which of course I don't mind). Been reading when I can and now hope I can get back to talking football with my Vol maniacs. lol
Prayers for you. I am in a holding pattern with my mother . Just had 3 surgeries and hasn't recovered mentally.
