I've actually been thinking about getting into yoga for a while now because the only sports I play now are golf and I ski, both big time core strength/balance activities and I think yoga would help. If I move back to Nashville, which I'm hoping to do, I'll take you up on this.
I got you, friend!

I wish. The guy I talked to in the AD was gearing up for a press conference and so I thought it was done.

I got back to my first comment on this search.

JP is going to take his time. Could go into 2019.
Briles picking up steam. Being discussed in multiple outlets, radio, Twitter, etc.
Mostly the discussion is him being a candidate, his offense, and some discussion of Schiano outrage versus Briles excitement.

Lots of debate on VN about hearsay, depositions, rollercoasters, and wgwtfa.

Surely not. Early signing period is coming up, I imagine we’ll have somebody before then. Offensive recruits want to know what offense they’re going to be in.

Let's start with Schiano. I didn't want him because he was crappy. Then I really, really didn't want him when I found out he was linked to the Penn State scandal knowing the media would bring it up and so would opposing recruiters. I would not want Briles as our head coach for the same reason. He has already been tried in the media and by the NCAA and hired 2 times after. There is more scrutiny for someone that will be a head coach and rightfully so.

That was the thing. Being a bad or mediocre coach was enough for us to say no way. The Penn State stuff was enough to be against it too. Put both those together, and it was enough to riot in the streets. Why is that so hard to figure out. It doesn't have to be one or the other. It was both for me.

In the case of Briles, it does give me pause. However, for starters, the victims were not children. The ones committing the crimes were not the authority figures. Briles is not accused of witnessing any of the crimes, that I know of. So, there is really no way to guage how much he may have known or been a part of.

So, of course I don't like that he was near that scandal, but it just doesn't reach the same level for me, up to this point. I supposed that is subject to change, as I learn more about the situation.

If this goes into 2019, Pruitt better be prepared to be crucified if the recruiting class starts to slide, people will have their pitchforks and mattresses ready to go.

Exactly

I know right? I mean, it's not like Christians are suppose to be the most forgiving people. Sin and condemnation lives on forever amiright!

I have no problem with LU hiring him. If they want to take that risk, go for it. Not my business anyway.

But I think it's silly to think because they're a "Christian" school it's logical for them to hire him or they're supposed to hire him in the name of forgiveness. Forgiveness doesn't mean you ignore one's past and put others at risk, in this case your institution. That's like saying, "well, we're supposed to forgive the priests or other ministers who've been guilty of sex crimes of various sorts, so let's hire one of them as the minister of our church." Or, "we're supposed to forgive the employee who stole from the company down the street, so let's hire him." No, forgiveness simply means you give up your right or desire to get even with someone for what they've done.

I'm seeing some hate for yoga coming across the board. Here's an open invite to all of my Volnation brethren: if you are in Nashville for any reason, if you are into exercising, hit me up and I'll comp your fee to one of my yoga classes. It's not what you think. I work with professional and collegiate athletes, and they struggle mightily with the work. After class, beer of your choice. (on you of course!)
Where do you teach and what are normal rates? I’m fairly mobile but wouldn’t mind a yoga class a week to improve.

I don’t think it takes that long but there’s no need to rush it. We’re done on offense for the early signing period.
