He’s been cleared several times by multiple sources since all the Baylor stuff went down. Was one of only a couple/few coaches retained by Baylor, was then vetted and hired by FAU, same at Houston. Optics don’t necessarily look good, but only by people who haven’t taken the time to do a little homework...which will of course include every single member of the national media.I am a little surprised that since Briles was right smack dab in the middle of the Baylor krap he would be shunned just as bad as Freeze seemed to be. Our whole group leading this cluster---- is about worth less as a teat on a bore hog. Good ole Tn can screw up a process beyond most every one else. JMHO
Don't let this stand in the way of the holier than thou crowdMaybe this will shed some light on this. Research is key.
Bill Rogers, guest columnist: The confounding case of former Baylor coach Art Briles
In a private letter written May 23, 2017, by general counsel Christopher Holmes, Baylor University quietly acknowledged it had fired its highly successful head football coach Art Briles a year earlier without justifiable cause. The context of the letter explains the university’s obviously inconsistent actions in blaming Briles for misconduct, yet paying him a multi-million-dollar severance fee.
Although the May 23, 2017, Baylor letter released by the Canadian Football League in late August unequivocally exonerates Briles, it has done little to rectify the stigma associated with his termination. ESPN publicized Briles’ firing unceasingly during 2016, as did other news sources; however, there has been minimal coverage regarding Baylor’s letter exonerating him.

Close to home here and I know the Baylor deal was a witch hunt. The disclosed buyout was 18mil. The non disclosed was closer to 40 with a gag order for both sides regarding the case. There is nothing that will ever come of this debacle for Kendal Briles. He would be a home run for the Vols.Maybe this will shed some light on this. Research is key.

the fact you are able to correctly spell teats but not boar paints a very interesting picture. Very interesting krap.I am a little surprised that since Briles was right smack dab in the middle of the Baylor krap he would be shunned just as bad as Freeze seemed to be. Fitzgerald makes more at Tennessee than their highest paid Assistant by $125000. Fitzgerald also stated when hired at Tennessee that the SEC is where he wanted to be....Maryland grad...that’s the whole crux.
