Is it typical for coordinators to come in for the interview? Seems like all the ones in the past happened off site and they only came in once hired.

I could see Weinke taking the QB coach spot at Maryland and then Friend taking over as OGs and associate HC while Clement coaches tackles. Briles would be OC/QB. And be short a RB coach per say.

Agreed... they'll send out their snooty tweets and write their one Vol-shaming article and fans of other SEC schools will make fun of us for a few days on Twitter while telling their friends in real life that they secretly think it's a damn good hire.

Time will pass. They'll bring it up on signing day, again at SEC Media days, again on the broadcast of our first game and one more time the first time we play on CBS.

Then it will be over and they will be talking about the new emerging dark horse candidate to win the East.

When the media questions UT on the apparent "hypocrisy" between not hiring Schiano yet hiring KB, wouldn't Pruitt, Fulmer or even the current UT President simply respond, "guys, I don't know what to tell you. We weren't around then and we had zero part in the decision-making process at that time."

That dude can coach. Anyone who wins a national championship 6 years in a row is not a fluke. As a coach, you can only beat the teams on your schedule and this guy has beaten them all a bunch of times.
