Liberty is a Christian school and I'm sure their views are different than most. True Christians believe in forgiveness and man kind is flawed. I'm not gonna preach and throw stones but you don't have to look very hard to find flaws in mankind.

Being as the purveyor of said system is no longer on staff, and it didn't work particularly well to begin with, I'm game to try again.

Don't think that's a big issue. The offense doesn't require any particular kind of QB, so Maurer/Bailey will fit in just fine. The offense relies on big, physical OL and fast receivers. I'd say that's exactly what we've been targeting from the start.

IMO, Briles buyout is somewhere around $825k. Supposedly it is 50% of base salary of remaining contract term (3 years).

($550k base x 3) ÷ 2 = $825k.

The $2.1M over 3 years is an "up to" number, i.e., included performance bonuses.

Some updates from other sites. 247 Auburn expects their focus will turn to Bobby Bentley. FSU 247 says they will turn focus to Briles and that Taggart and Briles spoke last night but Taggart is out of pocket all wknd.

If Pruitt wants Briles he needs to lock it up today.

By "Priesthood" I assume you are referring to clergy of all denominations. Priests are certainly not the only clergy who commit despicable acts. I know, no politics. I apologize. Hope we hire an OC soon.

Pretty sure they can forgive him and just not trust him to be put into the same position of power he abused.

Any bad stuff they do will ultimately be the fault of those that hired him. They had all the knowledge of past deeds going into this.

crazy how a few weeks ago folks and media saying we could have a chance at landing a top 5 class... now we are looking to try and stay in the top 10... what happened overall? How did our momentum with these kids stall? Were we simply the flavor of the month and the excitement is gone, or did the way we finish the season have something to do with it? Some on here say how we finished has nothing to do with recruiting, yet we laid eggs at the end and now we are sliding in the wrong direction with some kids... still time to reel them back in though...
