I think a lot of people are missing the point that with an up tempo offense you can get to the line quickly and prevent the opponent from substituing, but you can let the play clock run down before snapping the ball. This gives you the best of both worlds: uptempo and ball control. I think this is the offense pruitt wants. Check out the chargers offense, very quick to the line but slow to snap the ball

Exactly, Peyton was a master at this in the NFL especially at Indy.

Sorry for my stupidity, but wouldn't we kinda be shooting ourselves in the foot if we decide to swap schemes again. We recruited a certain type for a certain scheme last year and now changing again.
