I think he'd have to adapt to Pruitt's philosophy on offense from a standpoint of slowing it down a little to give his defense rest. Just don't think we'll have the kind of depth defensively to go with that style of offense.Clemson is 98th in TOP and ND is 84th. Bama is 71st. There’s more than one way to get the store fellas.
They said the same thing about Spurrier and the fun n gun and Meyer and the spread.Eh, SEC was just the slowest conference to evolve offensively besides the Big10 who are just bad. Bama is setting the standard now. Also I don’t think it’s fair to say that anything Clemson or Oklahoma are doing wouldn’t work in the sec.
Bama isn’t fast paced at all.
Yes they are. It all started with Kiffin and they have been ever since. They aren’t chip kelly Oregon but they go up tempo a lot. Check this out:
Lane Kiffin tells story behind Alabama's up-tempo offense and numbers behind changes
How faster pace of play impacted Alabama in first season of no-huddle
The thing about it is... fulmer isn’t going to tell Pruitt flat out “No” on anything. Hell he gave Helton, basically a rookie OC a boat load of money, then as it seems the top two candidates of our OC search so far are The million dollar man Hugh freeze and the one of the hottest OCs in all of football, who just got a pay raise. If that doesn’t show that fulmer means business and we aren’t going bargain shopping anymore idk what else will.
Fulmer doesn’t want to win, He demands it.
You missed my entire point per usual, but its irrelevant anyway. It will be a new say indeed when the Athletic has more facts than someone like Low Feldman Hubbs or Matthews.Ubben is about as straight a shooter as they come. Being a straight shooter I would assume he has been able to collect a couple of “good” sources.
He doesn’t just write something because somebody says something he actually makes sure it is factual.
The Athletic is not garbage and Ubbens articles are very good.
