Not to mention a lot of OSU fans are becoming very impatient with Yurcich. Went on twitter to see what fans are saying about him and saw quite a bit of OSU fans blaming him for not winning a conference championship in 7 tries. Not sure how you lay all of that blame on Yurcich and very little on Gundy but whatever.
Maybe he uses us like Gundy did to get more money. I'm feeling very cynical at this time.

Almost nothing will help those guys imp...graduating/transferring maybe? Great scheme is great, but no matter what you run, your OL has to execute. Nothing helps these guys.
That bolded part isn’t true though. We saw against USCe how much a simplified scheme and playcalling could help the OL at times.

Is there any OC/playcaller who could have turned our unit into a great one that put up lots of points every week? Of course not.

But that doesn’t mean there was nothing more that could have been done to help. We had some plays where the blocking schemes wouldn’t have made good sense even with a good OL.

It probably is made up. We just don’t know lol.

I know I have posted this before, but Pruitt may already have his OC and is also rearranging the offensive staff. There may be more than one moving part in this. They may be helping coaches move to new schools and interviewing for other positions.

It is obvious that no one outside Pruitt and Fulmer know what is happening.

Dude get a grip.
I am so sick of looking like the Keystone cops, or a dumb dog chasing it's tail.

And I am so sick of being the stinking joke program we have become..this whole deal reeks of vacillation, indecision and ineptness to me. How many other schools have made big hires in a day or two, some have hired big portions of whole staffs..SMH.

You take this dang long to hire an OC in the middle of what is the biggest recruiting class for your future...you better get it right.

I agree. I believe Pruitt will allow whichever OC he chooses to keep or bring in the assistants they want. Just like hes allowing Bailey to suggest how they can build an offense around him.

I think it would be great to bring Tee in to let him prove himself. If he earned it, then he could be promoted to OC when the time comes. Otherwise, it's a no for me.
how would he prove himself? Taking out trash and washing clothes? He has worked his way up through the ranks. What else does he need to do, to get your much sought after stamp of approval?

Hire slow, but fire fast. Know it, love it, live it

Perception of others means nothing. Most important thing is making the right hire. Let them laugh now, they will not laugh when we are winning again.
We will not win again, if we do not make the right hire

The Basilio stuff if stupid on the surface - but the deeper you dig the dumber the idea becomes.

Even if I grant you that Pruitt wants Freeze and Fulmer is blocking it - which we don’t know is true - why is it revolutionary that the athletic director is making that decision? It’s literally what he’s there for.

These reporters make money on knowing something so they sometimes make you believe they are in the know. They rely on you to read what they throw out. Sometimes the spew hot garbage to get their clicks to get paid by ads. I think there’s a lot junk being tossed out that’s not accurate. That’s why people like David ubben and Rucker have tweeted out don’t believe everything you hear.

I think Fulmer and Pruitt are working together and they don’t seem like the ones to gossip too much. I think the reports are coming from agents. Isnt it funny we have almost the same OC list as Auburn? Someone is driving up demand to get some raises for their people.

Basilio is hell-bent on the story that Pruitt wanted Freeze and Fulmer blocked it and now Pruitt is going around talking to big $$$ boosters around the state and telling them that Fulmer is blocking him. If true, it's just a matter of time until Pruitt walks to the next stepping stone.

Basilio should give it up. Art Bell and George Noory did it better.

Liked for the Art Bell reference. One of the best in the business, gone way too soon. RIP.

George Snorey is the worst however. He never does research on his guests, and it shows during his interview segments. His questions are the same retreaded interview inquiries with no real depth or substance. He's been mailing it for years now.

C2C should have fired Noory a long time ago, and made John B Wells the full time host. Wells has one of the best radio voices ever, and I remember his voice from when he was doing advertising voiceovers back in the 90s. Glad that Caravan to Midnight and his radio show are doing so well.

The more I sit back and watch all of this the more it makes me laugh.

Pruitt and Fulmer probably already have their guy like Doug mentioned, the 5% is just waiting on that persons season to be over wherever they are. They have not missed out on anyone legitimate yet and as you can see nobody else has hired Freeze so there is clearly more going on than Fulmer or the board is blocking him from being hired.

Pruitt's job is literally to get it right. If he doesn't he may not have a job very long. Would you rather it be rushed to placate impatient hyper sensitive fans(look in the mirror now...I'll wait) or take his time do due diligence and make the best decision for the team moving forward? The only think this reeks of to me is a HC who doesn't let anyone know what or who he is considering until the deal is done. Why not have faith in that and stop blubbering like a toddler who can't wait for his lolly?
