Not sure why. It was Art, not him, right?
Because he’s an apologist for his father who has shown absolutely zero contrition about what happened at Baylor. He also developed a reputation for being dirty. The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree and he’s reported to have “recruited” people to Baylor in some very questionable ways. I don’t believe for a second he didn’t know what was going on.

I want him as far away from this program as possible. I don’t care how good his offenses are.

I don't know but you know how terrible the fake outrage mob is these days they only see the last name and guilty by association. So Schiano lovers will come out screaming hypocrite

We can't make decisions based on how the idiots of the world will react. I don't think Briles is in play given he just got a raise but if he is then he should be judged on his own merits. If there's backlash, we can handle it.

If he's that slimy then that changes things but at the same time I can't blame a son for taking up for his father.

This article has some good information, including Kendal's inclusion in a Title IX lawsuit and information that multiple coaches within the Baylor program knew what was going on and actively helped Art impede investigators.

UH sends wrong message in hiring Kendal Briles

What did Kendal Briles do wrong? (Serious question.) Facts only, please.

I do know that a couple guys got prosecuted for things down there, so not sure a cover-up narrative (if that’s what it is) is going to fly too well with me, but I want to hear somebody who legit knows the facts tell me what the issue with Briles Jr is.

The whole Baylor thing alleged that multiple football staffers/assistants interfered in those sexual assault investigations. By the reports it's more likely that everyone on staff had an idea of what was going on, or choose to stick their head in the sand than not.

If your name doesn’t rhyme with Fruitt and Pullmer, you don’t know anything about who the offensive coordinator or even a candidate at the University of Tennessee is going to be.

Boosters don’t know squadoosh about an assistant either I’m fairly certain.

I believe you're right this go round..

Refer to the article linked above.

The idea of a university that just went through a nasty Title IX process hiring a coach named in a Title IX lawsuit, along with reasonable belief that he knew about really atrocious goings-on at a university, strikes me as ludicrous.

In Tennessee OC search, watch for Oklahoma State OC since 2013, Mike Yurcich, 43. OSU has had four 10 win seasons with Yurcich. In 2017 OSU was first Big 12 team to have 4000-yard passer, two 1000-yard receivers and 1000-yard rusher. He was GA at Indiana 2 years (2003-04).
