Will Friend is every bit as good as Pittman. That's how bad our roster is. Friend's UGA lines were the ones that Gurley ran behind. Gurley was good but you could've driven a mack truck through the space they created for him.

If Chaney is willing to split from Pittman I know Friend can get it done in the line. He enjoyed his time in Knoxville. Adding years of experience at Arky, Pitt and UGA only makes him even more prepared. He's one you would want developing Shrout, Mauer and Bailey.

I'd be suprised if we went that route because that probably gets a worse backlash than freeze. Granted I don't know his involvement in that ordeal and he wasn't the HC

Quite the opposite. We have some of the best in the business in Knoxville. VFL Films & Vol Network are the best at what they do. Pruitt and several on this staff are absolutely elite football minds. Barnes is one of the best. Vitello is as bright a baseball mind as you'll find. Things are not nearly as bad on the hill as they seem right now.
