“I think Yurcich is a name that Tennessee is looking at. I think some people in the coaching world that know Pruitt has told him to talk to Briles, Jr. Now Briles, Jr. just signed a new deal so I don't know what his buyout is.

Those are two guys we are digging on to see what kind of real traction there is if any.”

Hubbs
Pretty sure his buyout is $1 million.

Lady vols on 22-0 run
If watching the game fairly the refs are letting the lady vols get away with murder and are now calling ticky tac fouls on stetson. That has been the difference this half. Holly warlick is a terrible coach. Great recruiter but terrible coach. And then to hear her talk makes me cringe. Always sounds like she is crying. Ugh. Wish we would have gotten rid of her sometime over the past 2 seasons.

Ahh... the inevitable Lady Vols discussion.

Seems people only care to get enraged about the negative, but don’t really support them either. ☕

(Some) 😁

Can I get 📝 in the OC. I’m not sorting through all of this from the day. I see OP got paid

Doug Matthews feels like the AD’s mouthpiece saying the hire is 95% done and no one above Fulmer is an impediment to this hire.

FWIW...someone mentioned a few days ago the potential candidate was the 'traveler', been a lot of places, SEC experience, may or may like him... 'Traveler' is USC's mascot name...there's a coach, has been at USC, has been a lot of places, has SEC experience, and would require a ton of PR prep...Lane Kiffin. Probably not accurate, but who knows at this point.

Longtime reader, post rarely. Go Big Orange!

Been out awhile, looks like I missed the OP freakout. Some dudes just can't handle recruiting...

Hubbs mentioning Yurcich again gets me excited. That would be big time.
Posters falling all over each other to issue the line “google me coach”? That’s how Gundy actually found this guy.

If you REALLY wanna follow that trail, you’re looking for Sarkisian. No way Fulmer hires Kiffin.

I was curious about Yucich so I went to cfbstats.com to look at stuff. He's been at Oklahoma State since 2013. Really, his only subpar year was 2014. He's mostly had serviceable rushing numbers, but his passing numbers have been otherworldly.

He didn't have a settled QB until Mason Rudolph took over for the last three games of 2014 (where they beat Oklahoma and Washington). This year he has Taylor Cornelius, who is a senior.

I know we've talked a bit about tempo in the past couple days, and I'm kinda in a numbers mood, so here's a breakdown of some aforementioned candidates and the pace their teams play at.

Metric is represented by seconds per play:

2015 Ole Miss - 22.77 (28)
2016 Ole Miss - 20.68 (5)
Chip Long
2016 Memphis - 22.00 (15)
2017 Notre Dame - 23.67 (29)
2018 Notre Dame - 23.81 (34)
Eliah Drinkwitz
2015 Boise State - 24.07 (48)
2016 NC State - 26.13 (80)
2017 NC State - 26.00 (69)
2018 NC State - 26.16 (72)
Dan Enos
2014 Central Mich. - 28.81 (121)
2015 Arkansas - 30.11 (123)
2016 Arkansas - 29.15 (118)
2017 Arkansas - 28.16 (103)
Steve Sarkisian
2014 Southern Cal - 24.65 (60)
2015 Southern Cal - 24.86 (66)
Bryan McClendon
2018 South Carolina - 22.27 (10)
For a bit of reference, Tennessee was at 29.33 (119) this year under Helton.

Really love his info

Anyway we can get Oklahoma State info with this stat?

My impression is it's the reason I don't think this marriage can work
