MAKE A CALL. PULL THE TRIGGER. You had to know Helton was gone for at least a week prior to the announcement. Why not, ya know, SPEND THAT WEEK PLANNING FOR YOUR NEXT OC!

Other schools have an entire staff in place int he time it takes us to muddle through a position coach search. It is just unreal.

Well now that Bama is open, I think we’ll at least KNOW where we stand in all this soon, one way or another.

It’s only comical if the truth comes out. There is so much bull posted on this and every other site that nothing is fact until it happens. The truth may be that Freeze said no. It could be that simple and UT moved onto to others.

At first, we wanted the big hire but now this has lasted so long, we just want any one.

On Saturday, when announcement was not made, I settled on the real possibility of Friend being promoted

Do you actually believe anything reported about any of our cluster%^$#s, aka coaching searches?

The sad part is, if you're gonna promote Friend, do it QUICKLY and sell him as the best option out there. At this point, any such promotion is perceived as exactly what it is....fifth choice by a department that can't even pull off basic hires w/o drama.
